I am too dog tired to get up this morning. The weekend flies by and the weekdays go so much slower. I’m just not ready and rested for the start of a new week already! Hopefully if I hide in bed no one will notice me and I can keep on snoozing.
Madison gets really worn out when we do sniffing work. She has funny sleeping positions in the car. Mom says she might need a chiropractic adjustment sleeping with her neck bent in such a strange way! You do have to admit, though, that as uncomfortable as it looks, she seems to find that position just right!
Bailie doesn’t mind dragging herself out of bed upstairs in the morning. She stumbles down the stairs and lands herself in her furry bed in our office. Now don’t try to get her up out of that bed as she is not going to budge.
How about you? Are you too dog tired for it to be another Monday already? Next week, Monday is a holiday, so we are looking forward to a longer weekend and shorter work week!

Seems like nap time was our theme today. Lucy is often like Bailie. She comes our of her kennel in the morning and heads straight for her bed in the TV room or the one in the office. He favorite place is the chair in the TV room. It is next to the window and she can choose between watching the neighborhood activities going on out side the glass or just napping. Have a blessed week.
Bailie can see the front door from her bed and it is right next to mom’s desk.
we are dog tired from work too… one hour nosework is like walking 10 miles (not that our mama could stand 10 miles with us LOL)
Sniffing is wonderful but exhausting!
Understood! Here, the cat: Wake the human, make her fix breakfast, eat my breakfast, now I can go back to bed for my morning nap while the human is too wide awake to do anything but stay up and awake. Cats rule (and so do dogs!)
Mom wakes us up early every morning but we even the score by napping all day around her while she has to do that work thing.
Mom gets up an hour before I do. That hour gives time to get myself ready for breakfast!
Our mom gets us all up so we come downstairs and continue sleeping until she wakes us again to go for our walks.
I hope you get all caugt up on your rest today!
We are working hard at trying!
I feel the exact same way.
Such a shame work isn’t two days and weekend five!
BOL, Mondays are hard on the pups, too!
They are rough. We are just not ready.
All worn out, but ever so cute. You rest today and catch up on your beauty sleep. I’ve felt like this many times on Mondays but not today. We stayed home this past weekend so it was very relaxing. We’re also ready for fall. So tired of all the heat and the smoke from all the forest fires.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
We have been ready for fall since May but we have to always survive summer first π
Dog days of August!
Or dog days of weekdays π
you’re making me want to take a nap!
Go ahead. Napping is healthy.
You look exhausted! I wonder what you did over the weekend to make you so tired, or are you just catching up from previous weekend activities. Keep snoozing! XOXO, Sparkle
We didn’t do too much but we did have friends over yesterday.
Now that is a tired pup
Madison! You look like Cinnamon in the Truck or Mom’s car! She sleeps like that too! And Mom is really tired today. Some CAT (name Kozmo) came in the bedroom at least elbenty billion times last night yelling at the top of his lungs! It was coolish last night and Mom closed the door so he could not go outside. He YELLED! I think she should have a nap as she is cranky.
Cats! Our cat Sophie likes to meow at 4 am and it makes us all crazy since we get up at 5, it ruins the night for us. Hope everyone gets more rest tonight.
We are napping now…we know all about how much work that nosework is. We do a few minutes practice then we have to sleep for a few hours to think about it!
It really is mentally exhausting. We always sleep on the way home from class.
Mondays are always a bit hard at first, but once you get going it’s not soooo bad!
xoxo,
Arty and the Gang
It is the getting going that is tough, but we manage it every week, right?
Monday often gets a bad rap, but i think they just come back around too fast is all.
That is exactly right. When we have that 3rd day, it makes a world of difference!
