We are vacation ready hounds! Thankfully we love to travel, and Mom loves traveling with us. It’s time to hit the highways, let’s see where we end up. Mom says there will be lots of car time and many, many miles. We are also going to visit some new states which is exciting. Did you know we have a list of states we travel to on our The Staff page? Traveling is so much fun!
Of course, Bailie is not going with us, which is sad but better for everyone. She hates the car so much it would be torture for her to come along. Bailie also makes Mom a nervous mess with all her panting, drooling and quivering. We know she will have a fun time getting spoiled by everyone here at home. Mom doesn’t let us travel with toys, so Bailie will be protecting our very valuable Furballz until we get back.
Bert is not at all sad that we are going to be gone for a while. He is already mapping out his moves from one sunny dog bed to the next. I know he will miss the constant bickering with Olivia, but it is good for them to be apart for a while.
Sophie doesn’t care if we are home or gone. She simply does not like dogs. We know she will spend the time in her usual overly “furred” sleeping spot with her paws up. Such a pretty girl, but such a hermit too.

We were almost going to head out to Montana in a couple weeks but then we decided to enter a trial at home because we are traveling a lot the next few weeks. Hope we do meet up one day!

Bailie was super happy to see her pet sitter when we left and we were super thrilled to get into the car.

Safe traveling! Woo Hoo! Enjoy your road trip. Aw…Bailie, we had a poodle named Tinkerbell and she absolutely cried very loudly if we took her in the car. She was so sad, we think, cause she was a rescue, someone dumped her in their car and we think she never forgot. We kept her calm and happy at home and only went in the car to vet appointments. Poor pups. The cats look happy to get into mischiefe while you are gone. You enjoy the roadways and byways and have a blast!
Bailie is thrilled to not have to go on a road trip and we just love it. Everyone is happy.
Safe traveling and enjoy all the sights you will see. See good to mom and I know she will make your trip very enjoyable. CHerish the memories you will all make. Those felines and Bailie will be fine. SOmetime we just can not tolerate car rides so Bailie will be safe at home. Love to you and have fun!
