Tomorrow is my fifth gotcha day, October sixteenth. Since we don’t normally post on the weekends, I thought I would do my post today instead. It seems like I have lived here with Mom and my siblings forever. Actually, it is almost forever since I was nine weeks old when I came to my new home.
I don’t remember much about the day I left my birth parents and my siblings. Mom likes to get her puppies the day we turn nine weeks old, and I was the first of my siblings to leave the nest. My mom was super happy to see me, hold me and bring me home. Bailie was also along to pick me up, but she wanted nothing to do with me. I sure was tiny, but look at my fat belly!
Emma greeted me when I first came into the house. I do remember that moment and Mom was happy that she seemed to be quite interested in me. She was a real diva hound and not always fond of other dogs. Maybe she could tell that we were related. Her half brother is my doggy daddy. Mom says I have a lot of Emma tendencies. Emma, Bailie, and I became the GBGV trio for just over two years.
One thing I still enjoy doing, even now is to sit it the yard and just watch for things. If you sit still, maybe a critter will come by, or a birdie, one never knows.
My fifth gotcha day is celebrated with my current sisters, Bailie and Madison, another GBGV trio. Although I am the smallest in size, I am basically the boss of the family. I enjoy telling my sisters what to do.
You probably already know Mom calls me Gladys Kravitz because I am super nosy! I am always watching the neighbors to see what everyone is up to. It is one of my favorite hobbies.
The front window in our office is the best place to spy on the neighborhood because of the comfy bed to hang out in.
I’m kind of a silly girl too. People are my favorite thing. I often walk on my back two paws to be taller so they can pet me more easily. Jumping up on things to make me taller is also a hobby of mine. Being short is not bad but I like to try to get up higher when I can.
Overall, I’m a lucky girl to have a great family and a mom who loves me so much. We all get so many opportunities to experience as much as we can in life, we have a great home, healthy food, lots of treats, and tons of love. I knew the day I met my mom she would be a push over and I was right. Now on my fifth gotcha day I have her wrapped even tighter around my paws.
happy gotcha day sweet madison… we love the photos and we loved to see your sister emma…
Everyone misses her. She left a set of huge paws to fill.
Happy Gotcha Dsy, Madison β£ I am also a neighborhood watch girl
I sit on my padded bench at the front window a lot too. It’s a safer world with us in it! XOXO Sparkle
You are so right. Mom thinks I’m full of nonsense, but I keep us all safe just like you do.
We sure remember when you came home and we all wish you a most wonderful and Happy Gotcha Day beautiful Madison!
I barely remember it because I was so young, but I got a great home!
You’re a lucky pup to have such a wonderful mom. She adorable all of you.

Thank you. I ended up with a great home and family.
Happy 5th Gotcha Day, Madison! We loved your puppy pictures and you have grown into a gorgeous girl!
I wish I had grown a few inches taller, but it is what it is and being short may add to my cuteness.
Donβt know why but this bought tears to my eyes. So happy for the four of you that youβre such a wonderful family. Happy gotcha day
Awww, hopefully tears of happiness. We are a happy and lucky family to all have each other.
Happy gotcha day Madison! You sure were an adorable puppy – love that spotted tummy!
Wonderful memories of you and your sisters.
Have a fantastic weekend gals!!!
I’m such a skinny girl and I eat as much as Olivia who weighs 50% more than me but as a baby, I sure had a round belly!
Happy 5th Gotcha Day Madison. As my human granny used to say, “good stuff goes in little room”. And you are a lucky girl to have such a wonderful faily.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
Oh, I like that. I am small but packed full of everything I need in life.
A very Happy Fifth Gotcha Day Madison from one nosy dog to another!
xoxo,
Nosy Rosy
I think lots of us are super nosy and it is a good thing.
Happy Day Madison!! That last line is so funny — mom always says that we have her wrapped around our paws!!! And we do! You look so sweet and happy in your photos. Good work on neighborhood watch! Have a great weekend! your friend Lilly
I am a very sweet little girl who adores people and being in the center of it all. Most of all I love to hang out with my mom and as time passes I get more and more interested in cuddling. I didn’t used to like cuddling so much. Have a fun weekend!
Gosh, 5 years already!! Happy Gotcha Day, Madison! β₯
I know, it is crazy how time flies by!
Wow ! Five years ! Congratulations Madison !
I know, time goes so fast, it is crazy.
Happy Happy Gotcha Day tomorrow. Did I know your daddy was Emma’s half brother? You were the cutest puppy! and now , it is good that you can boss everyone around. You are a beauty!
I know Greffier is Emma’s half brother and Mom says I have a lot of the Debucher Emma in me. It makes her happy and sad all in one.
Happy Gotcha Day, Madison!!
Thank you.
Wishing you many happy returns of your gotcha day!
Thank you. I’m celebrating by doing scent work all weekend.
