This neighborhood store mural is so adorable! We were taking a little adventure the other day and drove past this super cute mural on a local little grocery store. It is such a fun one, we had to stop on the way back and take some photos. The mural covers two of the three sides of the building. This part was the most boring of all. The sun was also shining at us so we had to use an odd angle to get a photo at all.
We find this other half of the above mural to be the most funny. Does anyone know who Kevin is? Whoever he is, he has a sense of humor! The crowd on the bottom right is also cute with their welcome message. Of course, we love the rabbit with the carrot up on top of the HVAC thing on the wall.
The most interesting part is the main street side on Myrtle Street. Don’t you just want to go in the store as it looks like such a fun place? The water on the upper portion is the St. Croix River. See the paddleboat on the right in the river? They have a real one that does cruises on the river if you go into Stillwater. In the middle of the river is the Historic Stillwater Lift Bridge which is where we were headed to when we saw this fun mural. We’ll be posting about that on Friday this week. Of course, we have to love the guy walking his dog on the bottom right. The entire mural is fun, playful, well thought out, and has a lot of meaning to it we think. Hope you enjoy seeing it as much as we did!
