Trading cards for the 2021 AKC FastCAT Invitational have been ordered! Three weeks from today we will be in Orlando, Florida doing our test runs before the real runs begin that Wednesday. We have also started out packing list to make sure we don’t forget anything important. For Olivia and I, it will be our longest trip yet!
Until recently, we had no idea about trading cards but another person going to Florida mentioned people do bring them and pass them out. We used to pass out our business cards but we don’t have current ones because since COVID, no one really uses them. Because we don’t want to miss out on anything, we got busy and ordered our own sets. We tried creating our own cards. They turned out alright, but didn’t make us howl out loud. On a Facebook FastCAT group, we found out about someone who creates these cards and we ordered ours from her.
Selecting photos was hard, and then we selected the information we wanted on each of our cards. We told her about our personalities and how we have out own color and kind of how we would like our cards to portray us. She did an amazing job! We are both so happy with the results!
The 2021 FastCAT Invitational is for the fastest three dogs of each breed in 2020, since the season runs through December 31st each year. Olivia is the #1 GBGV for 2020 and is currently also #1 for 2021. Bailie didn’t make the 2020 list because she didn’t do FastCAT that year.
Right now Olivia is also #1 for 2021 and I’m still #3, plus Bailie is #6. It is also fun to see that Olivia and I have increased our top speed in the past year.
Now to the trading cards…Olivia being number one gets to show hers first, front and back sides. She is Team Orange, and she is a wild and crazy hound. We think this card is so perfect for her! Do you agree?
I love my card too! It is much more civilized like I am. Of course, I’m Team Pink, and I take life more seriously. Mom says I’m her most adorable pup because I’m so little and I look like a living stuffie. My card captures that, don’t you think?
We are super happy with our trading cards and we can’t wait to start handing them out!
