Mom and I went holiday shopping at Scheels on the weekend. They are awesome dog friendly stores and we have been to several of them in a couple different states. Mom wanted to look for some Christmas gifts. What a perfect time of the year for me to come along and help her out! We are both amazed at how many different trees they have in their store! I posed with several of them because they are so pretty.
We both love this jumbo ornament which is of course, a must for a photo. The only problem I have at Scheels is that the floors are pretty slippery and I have a hard time sitting without sliding away. I do my best, and for this shot, I even gave the camera a silly smile.
Over by the ferris wheel we found this pretty tree. The model is very shy and didn’t say a word to me. I find her outfit a bit odd but it is nice and colorful.
Upstairs every Scheels store has a pet department with lots of great stuff for dogs. Of course, they have the colored rawhides, but we have no interest in those. For me, the bones and chews are the most interesting. They sure smell good too!
Surprisingly, if you are doing holiday shopping for your dog at Scheels, they have a nice selection of Christmas cookies. I could not taste them, but they look pretty. They also have a huge display of Christmas toys with squeakers, and tug toys. That display was too busy to take any photos.
We never knew Scheels has a nice little home decor section. Mom found a lot of things she would like to have but restrained herself. I think she will go back another day and possibly buy some things. They have fancy trees in this section too, like this blue one.
After a while a girl gets tired of trying to sit and sliding away. For this pretty tree, Mom said I could just lie on the floor, and I was happy to do that!
We didn’t take photos of all the decorations as they have way too many for that. What we did do, is save our favorite gift item for last. I am a cuddle hound, so Mom says this pillow is made just for me! Yes, I agree. At this point, I do think we should probably cuddle and Mom and I did do some cuddling right there in the store! There is no shame is showing some love between a dog and a human! Happy holiday shopping!
My GBGV Life is joining Comedy Plus for some Wordless Wednesday fun.
What a fun shopping trip for you, Bailie! Everything looks so festive and pretty and we just love that perfect pillow!
We didn’t know they decorate their store so much. It was really fun and not too crowded.
oooh that treats department… it would be our favorite place like da Ikea Smaland… the mama could park us there for hours when she wants to shop LOL
It was hard to not steal some bones but Mom said I would get locked up if I took anything, so I didn’t.
looks like you had a wonderful day out. We think that treat section would be the best place to check out, and our Mom thinks that last picture has the best gift of all – yes to cuddles!
I love cuddles, so it is totally me, and Mom loves my cuddles too π
What a fun shopping trip. I get the floor problem. I have yoga mats all over my house forClover
At home I’m fine on the floors and I can walk around in the store fine, but sitting, I start to slide away. Poor Clover. She is lucky you have some help for her.
What a beautiful place to go to get in the Christmas spirit. A huge Awww.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
We expected a tree and found so many. It is definitely a festive spot!
That looks like fun except for the slip and slide. I am an absolute cuddle hound too, and I am sitting in my mom’s lap as I write this. Puffin is on the floor snoring. BIG TIME NEWS FLASH… tod! ay is my birthday, I am 8 years old! XOXO Sparkle
Happy, Happy Birthday to you! Hope you get to do something special and have some special treats. Bailie is eight and says it is great. Enjoy your special day!
What a fun place to shop! Great photos,Bailie! Yeah, slick floors are hard on us four-footed, but you perservered.
Chablis
They are only tough for sitting as my paws kept sliding out from under me, but still I had fun.
I hope you did not spend all your money …
We bought some gifts but didn’t actually get what we went there for in the first place.
You are a furry good poser! And so well behaved. Our Mom says she knows all about the sliding. The before hairy slobbery sister Bob used to go with Mom. She was a Aussie Shepard and she always slipped on the floors! Those trees are beauteous and we LOVE you with the Giant Ball! Too bad you did not get any tastes of the cookies! We hope you ALL have a marvellously Happy Day!
I can walk on the floors fine, but sitting causes my legs and paws to slide away. Still, it was a fun outing for the holidays with my mom. Have a fun week!
Wowee- you certainly had a fun shopping day!
We had a very nice time shopping together and doing some photos as well.
That sure looks like a fun shopping trip and how wonderful they are pup friendly!
They are super pup friendly and we love it!
What a fun day for you and your mom! My Alex is also a cuddler. When I get home from work, he is right there and can’t wait for me to sit so he can get some cuddles. Bailie – I love your silly smile!!
Thank you. I smile more and more and it makes my mom laugh which I like. Isn’t it great to have a cuddle buddy? Mom just loves our cuddles so much.
What a wonderful shoping trip Bailie! I sure wish we had a Scheels around our house!

I think Colorado is the closest one to CA. They are super fun stores for dogs and humans!
It looks like a great time for you and your mom, i hope you get to go back again soon.
We seem to end up there every couple of months. I know we won’t be back until after the holidays because Mom will be gone a lot.
