We had lots of fun and frolic going on in our yard on Friday. It snowed all day, almost twelve hours. Because it was a fine snow, it only accumulated to about four inches of fresh powder. Even if it wasn’t all that much snow in the end, we all had a great time being out in it!
Of course, Olivia has to always be racing and flying around. She knows she is speedy and we are supposed to know it too!
Poor short Madison. It appears someone has stolen her front legs but she is still able to run. Despite missing some legs, she is still smiling too!
Even my ears are having a good time. They decided to propel themselves up and back for aerodynamics, I guess. Note my serious face. I’m in a hurry because I think Mom might have treats.
This photo of Olivia is pretty funny and interesting if you look at it closely.See her big back paws evenly passing her front feet which are still in the snow? I don’t think we have ever seen such a shot of her paws before. Somewhere in those four paws lies the secret to her speed.
As always, never count Madison out. She does her best to run fast, even with deeper snow and being short. Madison is never bothered by her lack of height. The girl is overflowing with fun and frolic in the snow!
Look out, here I come! I’m starting to round the corner to get to my destination. Technically, being eight, I’m a senior dog, but don’t count me out of the reindeer games around here. When I want to, I can keep up with my younger sisters pretty well.
Here comes Olivia. She took a break inside. When she came back out, she took a leap off the stairs and started her next run across the yard. It sure looks like she is in a hurry!
Madison has had enough of racing around with us. She is happy to just sit in the snow and take a nice break. We sure had a blast in our backyard on Friday! I wonder when we will get another nice snowstorm?
My GBGV Life is joining Comedy Plus for Awww Monday today.
We are loving the wonderful pictures of you girls playing in your beautiful snow and we love that smile on your face, Madison!
I get almost buried, but I’m still having a blast running around in the white stuff.
What a great set of images! We got about 2 inches of fresh powder here in NW Arkansas. Lucy likes to eat snow, but she is not one to spend much time playing in it.
We’ve heard there is snow in Arkansas. Now that we have been in that state, we pay more attention to the weather there. Glad Lucy has some time to eat the fresh, clean snow. We don’t eat it, just play around in it.
you know how to handle snow… some car drivers should learn from you ;O)
There are a lot of bad snow drivers here too. It is amazing how they haven’t got any idea how to drive in it.
You girls sure were having a big time and it’s fun seeing those flying ears too!
We really enjoyed the snow day.
We love these photos! Awesome frolicking. Mom took us for an evening walk last night while it was dumping snow because we all love it so. It rained later so now its gone. But we had a good hour in it! Olivia is speedy. And Bailie you are keeping up!! (sorry I misspelled your name before! I hate when people misspell my name!). Have a good day! your friend Lilly
I’m used to having my name spelled many ways, and sometimes I am referred to as a boy, and that is what does bother me. Glad you had some fun time in the snow before the rain ruined it all. Rain is just a mess in the winter! Happy Monday!
Your babies love frolicking in the snow and we enjoy seeing them frolic. Olivia is a superstar. I’ve been saying that for a very long time.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
Olivia is starting to make the rest of us really look bad. She did it again on the weekend at barn hunt! We just have to live with it, but for her it is all just what she does and thankfully, she doesn’t gloat.
I love how happy you all look.
We really enjoyed a whole day of nice snow and not so cold weather so we could be out playing in it.
Snow much fun! XOXO Sparkle
See, there is a clue you are from Minnesota, LOL!
lots of fun! All of the snow everyone has been having has been missing us! We hardly have any!
Sorry you haven’t had much snow. We are really enjoying it so far this winter. Mom still wants more, though.
What fun photos! I think Olivia is part greyhound with foot movement like that, or else energizer bunny. GO DOGS, GO!!!
Don’t tell her, but we think she has bunny in those jumbo pillow paws of hers.
Wow! You guys look like your snow time was a blast! We LOVE all the action shots and seeing people’s feets is very cool! Thanks for sharing your fun with us, now Cinnamon wants out to play!
We would invite you over to play, Cinnamon, but you live so far away. By the time you walk here, you will be exhausted and our snow will be all gone.
I see some cute ones in your shots. And very happy it seems. π
We had a really great time out in the snow that day!
You three make a snow day the most fun ever!
We really enjoyed it since it wasn’t heavy snow and it was fairly warm out.
Oh my goodness, terrific captures. Frolicking in the snow! Love the pics! You all have a great week and Olivia, keep running! We all have something special to share with others. HUGS to you all
Thank you. Olivia is our family go getter type and she gets most of the time. We are blessed to have her.
