A warm home is really something to be thankful for. As much as we all love to play outside in the winter, getting warmed up inside is a wonderful thing. We’ve had lots of below zero mornings and it sure feels good to be back inside after a walk in that kind of weather.
Yesterday morning it was minus eight and it felt so cold. This time of the year, we have had our fill of the super cold and would prefer teens so we could play more in the snow. The sunshine is getting warmer, and sometimes I actually overheat in my front window. See how I am heavily panting?
Bailie adores her furry bed in the winter. She spends most of the day in there. The sun comes and goes, but Bailie stays and enjoys the rays she can get.
Olivia is all over the place. Sometimes she is in the other furry bed, sometimes in the window, in the wicker kennel, or just flat on the floor. She is the one who spends the most time outside playing in the snow, so she really enjoys the heat of the sun to warm up.
Most of the day, I’m enjoying our warm home from the comfort of my window bed. Even if I doze off, I will wake up if I hear any suspicious noises outside.
Even cat bro Bert enjoys being toasty warm. He is not allowed outdoors but sometimes tries to escape. When he comes back in, he really appreciates the warmth inside our house!
Being homeless would be terrible, but it would be even worse here in Minnesota with the extreme cold in the winter and heat in the summer. Thankfully we are spoiled and are definitely not complaining about it!

it is…. and we are grateful for cinderella who cleans da wood stove every morning ;O)
That is nice. Mom says she had a wood stove in Germany and it was a pain in the furs to clean and keep adding wood.
We are grateful for a warm home in the winter too.
We love winter, but if we didn’t have a warm home, it would not be much fun.
We agree! We had a few warm days and now it is cold again. We love snuggling in our beds and snoozing away warm as can be! We love the pictures!! your friend Lilly
We have had a roller coaster of warm then snow and below zero, repeat, repeat…Winter is awesome, but at this point, we are tired of the below zero mornings because we can’t walk as long as we would like to.
You all look so happy and warm inside. brrrrrrrr to minus 8!
If you are moving around the below zero stuff isn’t so bad, but boy does coming back inside feel nice!
We have had a cold wave this week, and we certainly appreciate coming back in to a warm house and cozy beds.
We feel the same way. I think after today it will get warmer here again.
You certainly have have had lots of cold weather this winter. Keep your mom safe on that ice and snow. XOXO Sparkle
We’ve had a lot of below zero. A few of those days we don’t mind, but a couple every week has been a bit much. Mom has her icebugs, so she is good on the ice.
Sweet photos of you fur persons ~ yes a warm home is a delight especially during the winter time ~ glad you are cozy and warm ~ Xo
Wishing you lots of love in your days,

We are lucky to have a warm home to live in.
Miss Bailie blends in so well with her fur bed I almost missed her! I’m waiting for warm weather too!!! All these beds are making me sleepy!
Chablis
We like winter, but are tired of the high winds and below zero temps.
while I hate the summer heat, I am pretty much “over” the cold too……I hear it is going to be in the 40s mid week next week! Wooo hooo!
40’s means a big mess that will probably freeze again, so we prefer to stay below freezing for a few more weeks. Not fans of the spring mess and summer heat, but winter has to leave at some point.
Stay warm and stay safe do not go outside in -8Β° weather
We go out in below zero weather all the time, but we can’t stay out as long as we would like to.
Yes indeed sweeties, inside and warm is really most special! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Your feral felines would love to have a warm home. We can’t imagine not having a house with heat to go into for warming up.
Oh yes, being warm and toasty in your favorite bed is so nice after playing in the snow and cold!
(It snowed here again last night!)
xoxo,
Rosy
We are all so happy you are getting so much snow to play in. Isn’t it fun!
It’s been freezing here the last two nights and it’s wonderful to be warm. We’re liking being toasty too.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. β₯
Warming up after being out and about is so nice. It makes the cold bearable.
Boy you got that right !
It is very true.
All the modern conveniences are a joy to have, we are very blessed.
Can you even imagine living a couple hundred years ago. That would have been so brutal!
That is a very great thankful. We’ve bene in a bitter cold deep freeze. Grateful for the warmth of home.
We are slowly coming out of one again. Hopefully it will stay above zero now as March approaches.
Awww your toasty warm photos of pups and sweet cat are wonderful! Have a lovely week!
Thank you. We have lots of warm and cozy places to relax.
