March is my birthday month! I get to do a lot of things for my special day before it even arrives. Lucky for me I have 25 days to get ready for the big day! As my bone says, “Pawty All The Time”. I know everything will get planned and done, but there are a lot of things to think about.
I decided to make a list of my tasks so I don’t forget anything. Mom works off of task lists every day in her job and it works well, so it should be really helpful for me. This is my first year doing a lot of the planning on my own because I am old enough.
The first thing on my list I already accomplished on the first day of March. Mom bought a birthday for us all to wear during our birthday months. I’m the first one to get to wear it. Isn’t it fun? We all love good collars!
I also have a spa appointment scheduled for next week. It’s hard to admit, but I think I really need one!
Next I’m working on finding just the right party hat and I’m also putting together my birthday wish list. Of course, the cake is the most important thing on my list. Mom has to take me to the bakery soon so I can do some tasting and choose the best cake in the place. There is so much to do, but it is fun work most of the time. I’m thankful I get to plan for my big day, not every dog has that option.

I’m still trying to decide what I want. Mom says another girl would probably not be the best because of the hormones and stuff. Maybe a brother would work, but I kind of like being the family baby.
