We earned some new Nose Work Element Titles over the weekend. All three of us had at least one trial each and with the exception of Bailie, we did really well. Bailie bombed out, but she doesn’t really care like Madison and I do.
Saturday, I started with a Level Two Container Trial. I messed up. It happens and except for my one mistake, it was a perfect four searches. Bailie bombed out big time. You know how she can be and if she doesn’t want to search, she simply messes things up so she can go back to the car. Mom was disappointed but it is what it is with Bailie.
Sunday, Madison and I each had an Interior Element Trial. Madison started the day with a Level Two Interior Trial. There were some communication errors with her and Mom that almost cost them the first search, but at the very last second it all worked out. She passed all four of her searches and earned her Level Two Interior Title, L2I. I earned my L2I last July and finished in first place! Now all three of us have earned that title.
I was up for Level Three Interiors in the last trial of the weekend. At this level, the number of hides is unknown. There are four searches and I needed to get all four for a title. Mom was nervous, but I calmed her down right away taking control of my search and finishing the first one in about thirty seconds. I continued to cruise through the rest of my searches to earn my L3I, Level Three Interior Title.
There were twenty two dogs, eight titles, and I placed third finding eight hides in 2:59:69. It was so much fun, and Mom and I are thrilled with my new title. I’m the first dog in our family to earn one of the Level Three Nose Work Element Titles.
Madison and I are both super proud of our titles, as is Mom. Mom and Madison are finally starting to find their groove and Mom is trusting Madison more and more. I don’t see Madison ever being a speed demon like I am, but the two of them will move along and earn lots of titles together for sure! This upcoming weekend, Madison and I will be trialing again, and we are super excited to see how it goes! Nose work makes us happy, and Mom really happy too!
My GBGV Life is happy, so weβre joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!

Way to go Olivia and Madison! You both have fabulous sniffers. I am possibly a lot like Bailie. Right now I am my mommy’s lap dog. XOXO Sparkle
Yeah, Bailie is a tough nut to crack but she is her own hound and we have to give her credit for that.
