We had some evening sunshine the other day and it made the perfect lighting for a good game of chase and wrestle with Bailie. The weather was still cool, but that makes for perfect racing conditions. Amazingly, Bailie had her wild pants on and challenged me to a game of catch me or I will catch you.
Both of us assumed the GBGV running position as we took off on the chase. Being chased is the most fun, so we take turns being the chaser and chasee.
As we run we also stretch ourselves out long so we can fly better through the air.
We race left, right, back, and forth, but I always seem to get chased. Hopefully this running will help Bailie run faster when she does FastCAT next month. She is really fast when she wants to be and she needs to get faster times in FastCAT.
For a moment, I am chasing Bailie and she is looking to see where I am.
Yippeee yells Bailie as she goes airborne while trying to catch me.
If we had antlers, they might tangle when we get into these positions. The evening sunshine puts a nice glow on our moves, don’t you think?
Sometimes we almost crash head on when we are so fast and come upon the fence.
Next it is back to the chase. Bailie and I ran wild for about twenty minutes and then we went inside and crashed out. The sunshine any time of day makes us all so much happier!
My GBGV Life is joining Comedy Plus for Awww Monday today.
Well, you girls can put your crazy pants on any time you want if you come to Missouri. I would love to join the games! I may be short, like Madison, but you can call me Jimmy Parker, and wish me luck trying to fill Chablis’ long-legged list accomplishments! He went over the Rainbow, but left me instructions about all the things I need to learn in my new home.
We just heard about you yesterday. Glad you found a nice new home. Being short really isn’t a bad thing.

We really need sunshine, so it was super nice to have some for almost two days. Normally it is pretty sunny here, even in the winter, but this spring has been terrible.

You girls sure have fun! And I bet your mom enjoys watching you, too! I miss watching Bogie and Ducky chase each other; though it mostly Bogie doing the chasing, with Ducky looking for places to land safely. Bogie would get so into the chase that he would sometimes run into and over poor Ducky. I used to worry that she would get seriously hurt. She was a stoic girl though…I always had to watch how she moved.
Sometimes someone does get hurt, but it has never been anything really bad. It’s fun chasing around.
Nothing like a good game of tag at the end of the day.
