We spent the weekend at the History Center of Olmsted County on the weekend for our FastCAT Trials. The have lots of open grass area which is perfect for the running track. While we were there, we looked around and took some photos of things we found. I was actually there last year in July when I got my BCAT Title.
Olivia found this barn with the barn quilt interesting since she was just in the barn quilt capital of Wisconsin a couple weeks ago. Evidently, barn quilts are all over the Midwest.
Nelson is working on sitting still. He has some serious ants in his furry pants when it comes to posing for photos. Mom says we were all like that when we were really young, but we learn quickly to sit still for a few seconds. This photo isn’t too interesting, but Nelson stopped moving for a moment.
We don’t have any fun photos of Madison at the History Center of Olmsted County. Her weekend ended right after it started. It was supposed to be a fun three days for all four of us, but on Madison’s first run she trip and injured her front right leg. She had to drop out of the competition for the rest of the weekend. We left her home the next two days so she could rest her leg. We’ll have more about this tomorrow for you.
Nelson also managed to sit still for a few moments on this old piece of machinery. He looks like he is scowling, though. I guess for a youngster, being still is aggravating.
There are a lot of old machines around the History Center. We don’t really know what they are all for, but they make for fun old time photos.
Olivia managed to also find this fun stick in the ground dog like thing. She looks so pretty posing in the yellow dandelions. We know humans are not fans of dandelions, but they do add pretty color to a photo!

so many great photos–all those great spots to pose and Baby boy is learning! We hope Madison is feeling better!!! your friends Lilly and Chester
Madison is feeling better, but we are still not sure if there is something more serious that we can’t see or what.
Oh Gosh! Heal quickly Madison! What a carload of pups! So, does Bailie like riding better since Nelson joined the pack? lovely photos!
No, Bailie doesn’t like the car no matter what. She is in the back so she doesn’t drive Mom crazy, and for now Nelson is back there so he doesn’t drive us crazy!
Ohhhhhhhhhh did you hear me saying Awww as I read your post. I love the gorgeous red barn and quilt art. We have a lot of that up in our NC Mountains. There is a map of all them too if one wants to take a tour. I bet there is one in Wisconsin too. Madison I hope you soon have a spring back in you step. Great photos
Hugs Cecilia
We are hoping Madison heals and feels better but we think a visit to the doc is a good idea.
Sorry that Madison had an accident. I hope she’s doing better.
How fun that you were all together and tell Nelson thank you for not moving long enough for you to get a cute photo of him.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around, healing pets to Madison and my best to your wonderful mom. β₯
The boy has ants in his furry pants, according to Mom! Madison is working on feeling better. We shall see how it goes.
Now I am here! Interestingly old finds. I guess life was simple back then. Little Nelson has ants in his young pants!π€£XOXO Sparkle
He is either moving constantly or sound asleep – no in between.
Awww, Madison ~ June says she’d give your paw a little soft kitty kiss to help it be better if’n she could … and her Mom says she just loves seeing “new” Nelson cause he is totally cute … ooops, well ~ we luvs seeing ALL of you, having fun on the farm.
Puppies are always cute π Madison is feeling better but still has to take it easy.
Madison. I hope you are resting and feeling better.
She rested all weekend and now she feels better but she still has to take it easy.
You are just as cute as can be and sitting still will come with time, Nelson. We hope your leg is feeling better, Madison.
Nelson is working on sitting still, but it is very hard for him.
that is so wonderful to see this wonderful red barns… how beautiful your land is!!! and we agree with you Nelson, to sit still is something what is very difficult LOL
He would fit right in with you boys. Trouble is something he loves.
love those photos! At least Nelson doesn’t walk away like Dakota used to (and sometimes Levi does too lol). Hoping Madison is doing better the poor thing!!!
We are all sad for Madison but hopefully her leg will heal on its own and she will be racing again soon.
Looks like an intriguing place and sweet doggie photos ~ you look a bit hot? Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

It was almost 80 which is a lot since a week ago we still had the heat on in the house.
Great photos, and we hope the rest of you did good on your runs. Sending healing wishes to Madison.
It was a mixed bag except for Olivia, of course. That girl is a born sports nut.
Love all the pictures. We have a yearly grange fair and I enjoy looking at the old tractors and the animals. Madison Hope your leg gets better soon! Have a good week ladies and gentleman!!
Mom loves to look at the old stuff. She doesn’t want any at our house but she loves to find it other places.
Looks like a nice place for a competition, we sure are sad Madison got hurt and hope she is on the mend!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Sunny
Mom is still shocked about what happened and Madison is trying to rest.
Y’all really get to see the coolest things and places. Good job Nelson! We hope Madison is doing okay, poor girl.
Nelson did pretty good for a little fellow. Madison is still resting and we hope her leg just gets better on its own.
Sending healing thoughts to Madison.
Thank you.
Madison, i hope you are recovering.
Nelson, holding still gets better with practice.
Olivia, i hope you had as much fun racing as you all seemed to have exploring.
Racing is the most fun. Exploring is just what we do to avoid getting too bored.
Hope your leg are feeling better Madison!
I’m using it again but we are being careful not to hurt it anymore in case there is something more serious.
