Our world is finally exploding in pretty colors. It only took a few days for things to go from dead and brown to green grass and flowers everywhere! Even my purple lilacs are out and starting to stink up the air!
Most of the flowers and buds are pink or white. I like the pink ones the best. Madison for sure loves all the pink flowers right now!
We don’t know what kind of flowering trees they are, but it doesn’t really matter as we just enjoy looking at them.
Tulips are always a good sign of spring, even if they are a few weeks late this year! We only found pink ones when we were out walking.
The white flowers always look so much more fancy. Even though I am a tall hound, most of the flowering trees are still too high up for me to really pose with.
Here are some other pretty white blooms on a tree we found on our walk.
The morning sky looks so nice with a few clouds, we took a photo of these pink flowers with the sky background.
There are so many pretty colors, and bright colors. It makes us happy just looking around at what nature is offering! Many of the flowers have scent to them which the humans love too. We are happy to finally have spring around here!

We have to stop on our walks to sniff them. Well she sniffs them, no clue why but she enjoys it.

Mom loves the smells of the flowering plants like lilacs. We find it silly when one can sniff critters every day.

It is still pretty cold, had a couple warm days but it is cold again. The plants and grass love this kind of weather, though.

Such a beautiful world. Today I’m looking out at flowers covered with about 4 inches of snow. Sigh. Springtime in the Rockies is always interesting. Have a great weekend.
We are going to turn the heat on after our walk/run this morning. It is only 62 in the house and highs the next couple days will be around 60, so we need to warm it up a bit. Crazy weather!
