My ninth birthday was great! Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes, I loved each and everyone of them! The weather wasn’t too bad and the wind had died down, so things were pretty good for my outdoor party. Mom isn’t a fan of indoor parties as things can get messy sometimes, especially with a puppy on the guest list! We get the table ready, and then the guests can arrive.
My Birthday Morning
Turning nine started out with a three mile run, me, Mom, and Olivia. The morning was cool, so it was a good temperature for a run. If we exercise more, we can eat more snacks, so going for a run is a good thing. We even saw a couple rabbits and squirrels along the way.
After our workouts, it was time for breakfast. Of course, I love my raw food, but I adore eggs and bread. Mom made me a sunny side up egg, with some bread, all on top of my raw food. It was super yummy and I am the only one who got it because I am special.
It’s Party Time For My Ninth Birthday
My party was in the early afternoon. Mom had to go to another function later, so we had to get it in first. Being the first party with four pups means things were a bit challenging. We had to move the table to get everyone in the sunshine. If a dog is in the shade, she didn’t show up in photos. We also had a new seating arrangement. Baby Nelson came last since his patience is pretty low. Mom put on his hat and he tore it right off and broke the string, so no hat for the boy!
This year I chose cookies toย make it easy for Mom to serve with the four of us including the little fellow. They are decorated to look a bit like my party hat with the pom pom on top, and they have a nine for my ninth birthday on them. Each is decorated a bit differently. The Three Dog Bakery did a good job for me when I was there and ordered them earlier this month.
Once everyone had their seat and hat if it wasn’t broken, Mom passed out the cookies and my siblings dug right in. Olivia is growing up as she didn’t get up on the table for the first time ever, but Nelson did get up with his front half. He then put his cookie on the ground and finished eating it there.
The cookies tasted fabulous! Olivia and I are showing off our opinion of them without the need for words.
Madison put on her cute little smile when she finished her cookie. Because she is short, her treats usually fall onto her chair, so she eats them there. I think she is a happy party guest!
Being the birthday girl, I always have a great time singing and chatting with my guests and I often eat my treat last. Once it is gone, it is gone, so I like to wait a bit and then savor it.
I broke out my smile when everyone finished their party hat cookies. It makes me happy that everyone enjoyed the treats I selected for my party. Madison is still cleaning up some crumbs on her chair, and Nelson is long gone. He will learn to stick around as he gets older.
Opening My Gifts
The sun was pretty warm, so we went inside for my gift opening. I got a new purple Furballz and some hamburger treats that I have never had before from Best Bully Sticks. Both gifts are great! My purple Furballz is getting tired, so it is time for a new one. That wraps up my ninth birthday party. It was a blast, and now to enjoy a year of being nine!

I’m very happy to have a new Furballz. We think they may not be making them anymore because they are hard to find.

Mom is our personal party planner and we agree that she does a pretty good job. Our parties seem to always turn out well.
What a wonderful party. How festive. Happy Birthday. Where did the time go?
Time just seems to fly by faster and faster.
Your Birthday party sure looks like it was so much fun and I’m glad everyone had a blast!
We did all have fun and everyone enjoyed the treats I picked out.
What i lovely party you had Bailie – everyone was all smiles – well, except Nelson who still has a puppy brain! Eggs are a big hit in our house too… and bread. Well, we are French hounds!
I love bread and Mom doesn’t like the end piece, so I always get that. Nelson liked the food but then he was history. As he gets older, he will understand.
That was such fun! Thank you for recommending Furballz, i got them for the grand-pups and Lulu especially adores hers.
They are so much fun, we all love them so much and we have had them for several years now.

We all had a great time. Even Nelson enjoyed himself for a few minutes before he got bored and left.
What a great party you had, Bailie! And a great birthday week to get it started, too! I still can’t believe you’re 9 years old, a year younger than my beloved Ducky. I wish you many, many more happy birthdays with your sisters and brother! ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Thank you. Nine is crazy, but ten is scary, so I am going to enjoy the next year.
We loved seeing your birthday celebration pics; it looks like you all had a wagnificent time!

He has a wild side, but he is usually pretty mellow. He sleeps most of the day with us all in Mom’s office while she works.
