I’m so thankful I can visit my gramma again! She has been having some really bad health issues and has been in the hospital and recovery places, but none of them are dog friendly. Mom won’t do the therapy dog thing, so I haven’t been able to see her. Finally she is at a place that allows dogs so I got to go visit on the weekend!
The place is quite nice, but it is a long ride from our house, even longer than the usual ride to gramma’s house. Still, I am willing to go for a ride if it means seeing Gramma. It seems very nice there. The lady at the front desk liked me and apologized for not having any treats. For one thing, it is very quiet, so Mom said no howling or barking indoors.
When I got to her room, the first thing I did after giving her some of my kisses was to jump on the bed to make sure it is comfy enough. It would be terrible if it wasn’t a cozy bed. It does meet my standards, so she should sleep well on the mattress.
She has a funny thing she uses for walking. I am kind of afraid of it because I think it might run me over. To check out the safety aspect, I took it for a spin myself. All I can say is it is a weird thing!
Most of the time we were visiting, I was on the floor snoozing. When we visit gramma at her house, there is a lot for me to do and all the squirrels to keep an eye on out the window. Now she is in a small room and it is boring. I think she must be really bored too.
My snoozing took place right at gramma’s feet. She sits in a chair with wheels right now and I make sure she is well guarded. While we were there, a few people came in her room and I attempted to bark and chase them away, but Mom said they are not a threat, so I let them in. One can’t be too careful with someone as precious as gramma. Yes, I am a very sweet, gentle girl, but I can get tough if necessary. I look forward to visiting gramma again soon!
My GBGV Life is joining Brianโs Home Blog in the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Hope she comes home soon as so you can see her more often. She must miss you.
We hope so too. At least I can visit her now.
We know your gramma loved your visit, Bailie, and we hope she gets to go home soon. You really have that walker mastered in my opinion!
The first thing Gramma did when she heard dogs could visit is to call Mom and tell her so I could come on the next visit.
Hope your Gramma gets to go home really soon. Your visits at this temporary place must really cheer her up!
She loves to see me and I really missed seeing her.
I’m so happy to hear that your Gramma is doing some better and I’m really glad you got to visit her and help her with the healing. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

Good to hear she’s on the mend. That thing for walking really is funny!
I don’t know how humans can find it helpful.

You have a heart of gold, Bailie. You love your Gramma so much. I just know she felt so much better getting to see you! My mom told me those places can be so lonely, and I hope Gramma gets to go home soon. XOXO to your Gramma, Sparkle
We hope she can bust out of the place in a week or two, but we shall see. I am really happy I got to see her.

I am so glad you were able to visit your Grandma. I bet you cheered her up immensely!!! Pets have healing powers!
Gramma adores me. I am her special granddog.
We know from personal experience it’s so important when the puppers like you visit the peeples who are sick cause it helps them feel and get better … so paws up and good job! You should be most proud of yourself (and get a gold ribbon, maybe!) Wishing well to your Grandma with hopes she will soon be homeward bound.
We hope she can get out of the care center and get back home and stay healthy.
Oh Bailie, how sweet of you to visit your gramma. You KNOW you are her favorite. I’m glad you got to try out her mobiility equipment out – it is important for it to fit right. And it was so kind of you to check her mattress a swell, GOOD sleep is very important for healing.
Gramma tells me all the time I am her favorite granddog because I am so sweet. I love my gramma.

We are all happy I can finally hang out with her a bit once again.
I am sorry to hear about your Gramma. I hope she will be up and around soon. I hope she has one of those mattresses that moves around so she does not get bed sores. however, it looks like she is able to get up and do some walking. i wish she was closer to you because you have to keep an eye on your loved ones in places like this. I am sure your mom checked them out thoroughly and they did not have any or few discrepancies (complaints). your state or local country should have information, and reviews on assisted living, rehab places. i know your Gramma was so excited to see you. hope you and the rest of the kids get to visit again very soon, better yet, i hope your Gramma gets to go home very soon.
Mom’s brother works in the industry, so he knows what to look for and someone usually visits her almost every day. We live too far to go daily but Mom talks to her daily and visits at least once or twice a week. Hopefully she can bust out of there soon.
What a precious time you had, i am so glad you got to go and hope you see Gramma again very soon.
We are hoping we can go out and visit this afternoon.
I’m glad that you were able to visit your Gramma. Sending healing thoughts. I hope she is able to come home soon.
There is no place like home!
So glad your Gramma is in now a place where you can visit her again. You probably made her whole week!
It is great being able to see her again and see how she is doing.
