At our house, we are thankful for staying cool. Mr. A/C is our very best friend in the summertime. Yes, we love cool nights when we can have the windows open, but sadly, most days and nights it is too warm and/or humid. This big guy is so important! Last year when he quit working we panicked but our neighbor was able to repair him with a part for about $20. Paws crossed that Mr. A/C has a long and healthy life ahead.
While Mr. A/C is awesome, he has some trouble keeping the entire house nice and cool, so we have our big fan. We are fans of our fan and it is often used in our office on sunny days. The fan allows us to keep the thermostat a bit higher because the fan circulates the cooler air. We move it around to the living room sometimes too.
Finally, we have our portable fans which can also be plugged in if needed. These are used when we are in competitions in the car, or in front of our kennels like last weekend. We also use them in the house sometimes. They are super handy to have around.
Being cool is definitely something to be thankful for!
My GBGV Life is joining Brianβs Home Blog in the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
You are cool dudes whatever the temperature!
Awww, thank you.
We don’t have centralAire but we do have a portable AC and a window AC and we use fans too. You gotta stay cool in the summer, right?!
We love the a/c and can’t imagine our lives without it.
Thank God for helpful neihgbors!!!
Our neighbors are the best!
Oh Our Goodness! We say this too! Sometimes the puppy boy will even sleep all by himself downstairs because it is cooler. Not me, I stay right with mom every single night! But I sure understand that it is cooler downstairs. You girls keep cool! your friends Lilly and (brave) baby boy Chester
Our house is cooler downstairs, but we still all sleep upstairs. Thankfully the ceiling fan in the bedroom helps keep things cool.
Oh my dog, yes! Mr. Air Conditioner is a huge friend at our house too! We live in a 1 story house, and even with my big, loud yapper Mom does not open the windows. We have fans in the ceiling in almost every room plus a small fan in the family room. Whew! We even have back up if the electric goes out. He is called Mr Generax and is very loud! XOXO Sparkle
We don’t have back up, but so far since Mom moved here, the power has gone out a handful of times for just a couple minutes. Stay cool!
YAY for wonderful neighbors!! We just had our A/C fixed for A LOT more than that! lol!!! Keep cool furiends!!
It was amazing and we are so grateful. The big companies would have charged a fortune to come out and would have wanted us to get a new unit.
Keeping cool is so important. I sure enjoy seeing you. Your mom take such good care of all of you.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
It’s no fun being too hot. We get the heat on our walks or playing in the yard and coming in to the the a/c is wonderful.
we hope our cold weather is with us for the next days so we don’t need blowing machines ;O)
This weekend should be cooler, but not super cool. We are happy whenever the big heat stays away.
We love those cool cooling things too and we’re also a big fan of fan clubs! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Fans feel so good blowing the furs around!
I say here here x 100 to that. I often wondered if you had central air very happy to see you do after the few terribly hot days already
Hugs Cecilia
Mom insists on it because it is no fun for humans or pets to be super hot. Even if we don’t need it all the time, it is there.
We have AC and fans to get us through the summer. We like having the doors and windows open, but when our AC is running, we have to close everything down.
We love having everything open, but with the super hot days and humidity, it would be miserable without everything closed and the a/c on.
We are thankful for you guys! We have a (portable) air conditioner that keeps the living room cool. Mostly we rely on fans and keeping the windows covered. Mom bought insulating curtains and they not only keep the house cool in the summer, they keep the house warm in the winter! We are lucky this spring, it has been very cool and we are NOT complaining (even though our garden is woefully behind). Thanks for visiting us. We hope you guys have a marvellously happy weekend! Purrs Marv
It was super cool here until late in the spring but we went from freezing to almost 100 degrees in a week. Crazy weather.
It must be real windy in your house!
Sometimes it is if we have the fans, but we like a nice breeze.
Amen! We have window A/C units and i am not sure we could survive without them.
A/C is a must for heat and humidity. We don’t know how people live without it.
You are absolutely adorable and I bet the fans are also big fans of you.
Sending you paw kisses, and loads of love. xoxo
We think our fans like us, but they never say.
Ain’t air conditioning grand?
It is a wonderful invention!
