Yard racing continues with me and Nelson. The other night we were so wild Mom had to separate us and let us mellow down for a while. We sure do get going! Nelson is getting bigger and stronger every day, so the speeds are increasing in our racing.
The pine trees are still a huge draw for fun. Nothing beats running under them and then popping back out!
I am still big enough to pin the little brother down. He secretly likes it I think.
Do you ever watch the WWF stuff on TV? This is my version of jumping off the side wires onto my opponent. It is going to be a big jump and land on Nelson move.
It is back to the trees. We sometimes wrestle to catch a break but then start up running full speed again.
You know we are both pretty crazy when we have our wild pants on. How about these crazed eyes?
When the little guy starts to think he is faster than me I then will nip him in the behind! Mom says I take him down like a lion takes down its prey.
In the end, Nelson has to admit I am the winner, and he surrenders with his paws up. Yard racing sure is fun and we sleep really well once we calm down!
We are joining our friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard is for their Nature Friday blog hop.
I feel happy just looking at the photos. sooooo precious
Thank you. We love playing chase!
we love this eyes!!! and we love your wild games…. have a super funny weekend
We love being wild, but I don’t think we are ever as wild as you boys!
You guys are having a blast together! Just wait until the snow arrives!
We talk about that all the time. Winter is on the way!
Just looking at the photos of you and Nelson makes me smile! They bring back fond memories of my sweet angels playing in our yard. ❤️❤️🐾🐾
We do have a great time together.
I’m happy that the two of you have each other.
We are both kind of crazy, so we work well together.
You guys are the best. So much fun! Just be careful with Nelson, in case he becomes a show dog.
He will be a show dog, but he will always be a sports dog first and above all a fun dog!
WOW – such fun!! My Alex just has me to chase – thank goodness my neighbors can’t see me and Alex running around outside!
LOL! That is funny!
It appears that Nelson is fitting in very nicely. I didn’t have any doubts.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. Scritches all around and my best to your smart mom. ♥
He does a good job knowing all of us and what each of us like.
Oh, you two are well matched in the wild play department! Have a wonderful weekend.
We are. I just hope he doesn’t get bigger than I am!
Zzzzoooooom!!! We love watching you two zooming around the backyard!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Sunny
We really cruise and it is so much fun! Once we wind down, we sleep well too. Nelson fell out of bed in the middle of the night after that yard play event. He was sleeping so hard his body forgot to alert to the edge of the bed.
Standing ovation!! Those are some wild crazed eyes…I do love the photos.
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you. We had a ton of fun.
Just brilliant, and exactly how I like to play. I wish I had a playmate always on hand so I could perfect my WWF moves, but I’m pleased to report that I am getting to know couple of nifty fellow combatants in the local park.
Toodle-oo!
Nobby.
Being an only dog has some advantages like getting all the focus and attention, but it is nice to have a playmate available at home too.
You two made my day! Love to see you zooming around togetehr. Helps to build your speed and stamina for sports!
The two of us are going to be super speedy if we keep up the practice.
that is so stinking cute!! You two are having a blast!!
We have a lot of fun together. Both of us are kind of goofy and immature which is nice.
My goodness, you two really had that old time romp and roll going on, I’m tried just seeing all that!
Mom had to stop us as we were so over the top we didn’t know we should stop!
You two are quite a pair!
A wild pair of animals.
Wow! You 2 sure know how to have fun! It is always so much fun watching dogs play! Keep being awesome, Marv
Mom says she could watch us forever.
