I am kicking off my birthday week with some cake shopping at the Three Dog Bakery! My birthday in next Wednesday, August 10th, and I’m starting to get excited about turning six! As for all of us, the biggest part of a good party is the dessert, so Mom and I went to the Three Dog Bakery to see what we could find.
We are really lucky to have such a good bakery just minutes from our house. I did a lot of looking around to see what all they have. It is not just baked goods but they sell treats, chews, toys, collars, leashes, blankets, and more. Mom may or may not have bought something for Nelson on our little trip there.
The natural chews sure do smell good. We bought some of these once and they are super yummy and they last a long time.
On to the main reason we were at the bakery, my birthday dessert. It is really hard to choose because they have so many things that taste amazing and smell so good. I’m trying to decide between a few things that look good to me.
Cake shopping is fun, but cake tasting is the absolute best. The owner knows me and my siblings. We always get to do some tasting when we stop by. Sometimes I do eat right out of her hand, but usually I take the piece, put it on the floor to properly inspect it, and then eat it. I think I have made my decision! Mom and I decided to do something a bit different and I think it will work well for my party. Stay tuned next week to see what I picked out!
