I didn’t get a load of new sports titles while I was five, but I did earn some new titles, and some good ones too. Today I’m looking back at what I accomplished.
Last August 21st, I earned my AKC Excellent Buried Title, which gave me my overall AKC Excellent Title in Scent Work. Olivia and I went on a road trip to Council Bluffs, Iowa for this trial. Now I am completely in Masters and have several legs, but no titles…yet!
March 13th, 2022, I earned my Level 2 Interior Element Title. Mom was completely surprised by this one, but I knew I could do it all along. This title was earned locally at a school.
On April 16th in Laramie, Wyoming, I earned my first NW3 Title. It is extremely special as it took me fifteen tries to earn my first one! I need three to move to the next level. Mom and I had such a great time at that trial. We need to repeat that so I can earn another one!
In June I finally earned my FCAT Title. May was so disappointing when I was injured on my first run. Thankfully I healed in a few weeks and could run again and earn my title! They didn’t have the usual ribbons, I got a medallion instead.
My final title while being five is my Crazy Eights Bronze Title in Barn Hunt. This is a really pretty, fancy, big ribbon which I love! Mom says Barn Hunt is my top sport because I have so much fun hunting. She might be right about that. Now I can start working towards my next Crazy Eights Title.
I may not have earned a ton of new sports titles, but I did earn some big ones and I am proud of that. Let’s see what I can do when I am six.
My GBGV Life is happy, so weβre joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!
Ribbons are pretty, titles are nice, the most important part is to always have fun!
I do usually have a good time, some sports I do enjoy more than others.
You are such a lady. It was so disappointing when you got hurt. But you still got the title later. You are a winner at everything you do. β€οΈ
That was so scary when I got hurt and Mom was heartbroken because I was broken. We never have seen a dog get hurt running FastCAT and it was a real shock. My first runs back were slow because I was scared, but now I am feeling more confident and running faster again.
You are one smart girl, Madison, and your ribbons are gorgeous!
Thank you. We all love a lot of pretty ribbons.
Yes, you ate a beautiful lady doggie. You did earn some beautiful ribbons and a medallion. A girl’s just gotta have fun! XOXO Sparkle
I had a pretty good time with my sports and some of my titles really make me proud and I enjoyed working for them.
Wow. I am impressed. I didn’t know these titles existed, so double congrats!
The dog sports world is huge and we only do a small fraction of what is available.
You are a super star!
I’m more the average pup having fun. Olivia is the super star, sports crazed girl and that is fine. I’m not into it nearly as much as she is.
Madison you are a winner no matter what you are or aren’t doing.
Hugs Cecilia
Thank you. Mom is proud of me. Each of us is different and for my personality, I do really well.
I must say I am very impressed! I think turning six will give you at least 1/2 dozen (6) new
ribbons! Lvoe your “coach” outfit!!!
It is getting more difficult to earn titles for me since I am at the higher levels in all my sports but I keep plugging along.
I’m so happy that your leg healed and you finally won. Wonderful news.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and a big hug to mom. β₯
Getting injured was a huge blow, but we are super thankful it wasn’t more serious and it healed so I can play again.
We are always impressed by all the ribbons you and your sisters(and now brother) get. We think you had a great year 5 and we can’t wait to see what year 6 brings!
Everything is constantly changing and now I am in the higher levels so earning titles is more difficult but I keep working at it.
The best part is you had fun and made progress!
Getting pretty ribbons is a lot of fun, but the process and getting to work with Mom and have fun together on all my sports is the most special part.
Those were all terrific and you look very proud! We can wait to see which title comes next for you!
It is getting more difficult, but I hope to earn some more titles when I am six.
You’ll always be a champion in our books no matter what sport you’re taking up. Congrats on all those pawsome awards.
Thank you. Mom always says most dogs don’t have any titles or ribbons, so the ones I have are all special because I get the opportunities to play sports.
