The Des Moines Fairgrounds have some fun things to see if it isn’t raining! Before leaving on Sunday, we took a nice walk and found some fun photo opps. Madison, Olivia, and I had our photo taken with this fair mural. It is really long, so Mom couldn’t get the entire mural in the photo, but she did get most of it.
Olivia and I would love to take a ride in a sky glider. It is just the right size for us, but Mom says we would be terrified if it actually started to move. Thankfully, it was not running when we sat in one of the cars.
Madison found a momma cow and her calf to pose with. Can you even see Madison? She sure looks small with the two moo cows.
I happen to love this first place mural. Mom and I strive to always be the best. Even when we are not the best, we have fun and can’t wait to try again.
My sisters have done lots of sports and I have to tag along, so this was my weekend. My breeder brought two of my littler mates to the dog show, a brother and a sister. You may remember I am from a litter of thirteen, eleven of us were born alive. It is really fun to see family at the Des Moines Fairgrounds at a dog show. This photo is of me, my adopted sisters, Olivia and Madison, as well as my two real siblings.
Mom captured a tender moment between me and my sister. She is very sweet, and I forgot that I guess I miss her.
The three of us like to have fun and mischief. We enjoyed making it difficult for anyone to capture a nice photo of us.
Finally, we caught a good pose for a photo! I can’t wait to meet up with these two again at another show. It is a lot of fun to have siblings and adopted ones as well. The Des Moines Fairgrounds turned out to be a fun spot!
We are joining our friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard is for their Nature Friday blog hop.
What a fun event … and lovely photos. (with apologies we’ve missed many posts of late, been a rough week past with little time to visit … trust all has been well with the GBGV, hugs to all)
No one is required to read and comment. We too do our best to visit as many blogs as we can but sometimes we just don’t have time. Life is more important. We know where to find you and June π
Family is wonderful. I am friends on Facebook with my brother and sister. We live in different parts of the USA. Good luck this weekend! XOXO Sparkle
This weekend I have another brother plus the one from last weekend and my sister. It is fun to see them after 4 1/2 months.
You guys find the bestest stuffs to pose with! You would never get me in that sky glider. The two of you are very brave!
LOL! People see us posing all the time and are always amazed at how we just do what Mom asks us to. We started as puppies and know our job π
Oh Our Goodness — your siblings!! What a fun encounter for you. And mom thinks one of your siblings has colors very similar to sweet Emma. We can’t wait to see more of your dog show adventures coming up. have a great day your friends Lilly and Chester
Today I got to see another brother from my litter. The three of us boys and my sister are all at the show this weekend. We all get along like we never have been separated.
Wow! What a great weekend. Did you remember your siblings? You look like you are a little bigger, but the most handsome of all.
Actually, I’m smaller than my brothers. My frame is more sleek like my sister. We are together again this weekend along with another brother. The four of us get along like we have never been apart.
You’re so cute and I love all the shots. Such a fun time and I love moms suit. I want one too.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. Scritches all around and my best to your wonderful mom. β₯
Mom loves her suit too and it looks really nice with my furs.
love all the photos and it was so great to see Mom!!
It’s hard to get showing photos without her in them, LOL! She has loosened the rules about humans in photos a bit from what Emma started out with.
how great that you had such a good day… he is made for the ring, super nelson ;O)
It is sure a frustrating thing, this dog show stuff, but we are not giving up yet. Sports are more fun and more fair, that is for sure!
Wow! A very full and excitingtrip
We usually pack a ton of stuff into our adventure trips.
We loved this post, from the Iowa State Fair and of course you guys are the best, always. What fun especially to meet your siblings. (Purely by chance, I met one of my older brothers earlier this week.)
I saw another brother today. It is fun to see siblings again isn’t it? We all get along like we have never been apart.
How great to see litter mates! Your two moms look very nice too. Nelson looks spiffy! Great fun trip for all it looks like!
I am spiffy and everyone says I’m so handsome, but still I can’t seem to place first. We will keep trying.
That’s what all those activities are for – to have FUN!
That is correct. If the fun isn’t there, we would stop.
WOW, I though maybe one of you were running for President! Those are all fabulous photos and how cool you had both families there Nelson!
I know! Having full blood and adopted siblings is just more fun!
That was a great adventure, i hope you have plenty more of them and can keep sharing them with us!
We hope to have some more fun trips coming up but first we will be competing around home for a month or so.
WOW! What an exciting place! And you got to see some of your siblings too! That is purrfect! It was our local fall fair this weekend. Mom thought about going but she started painting the hallway so Alex can lay the flooring next week and before she knew it, it was too late. But that’s OK, she had time to make Steak and Cesar Salad for supper and I, marvelous, got some steak (so did Cinnamon and Kozmo and Jo Jo). Oh Bert, Live mice in the house is NOT good, they got into our cat crunchies! Purrs Marv
Mom put a stop to live mice before he brought them in. That cat of ours is trouble. Steak sounds tasty. Glad you all got some to share!
