I found this jumbo chair on my walk in Faribault this past weekend. You may know Emma started the tradition of finding huge Adirondack chairs years ago, and we have kept it up. Although I’ve been to Faribault a lot, it is the first time I have seen this chair.
For my Gramma, I had my photo taken in front of the Faribault Woolen Mill. When Mom was little they sometimes went to Faribault on Sundays and stopped at the mill to buy blankets. We still have some at our house.
The Cannon River runs by the mill. With the lack of rain this year, the river water level was a bit low. It is still a pretty sight to see.
On part of the fairgrounds they have some older buildings and things. I had my photo taken by this little old house.
This cute wood shelter, kind of a tent like structure is fun. Do you like my smile attempt? My favorite find is definitely the jumbo chair, but I enjoyed finding the other things on my little walk as well.

That is one huge chair! We love your smile, Madison, and you are a good sport to inside that wooden tent. I”m not sure that I could do that.
It was nothing scary at all. I think maybe critters live in it at night.
You and your mom are the best finders of unique items! Thanks for sharing these photos, Madison!
Sometimes we go looking for them, but often, they just appear for us.
You and your whole family (plus Bert) could fit in that big big chair! It is awesome … of course it goes without saying that you’re rather awesome yourself … and yes: the chair photo is terrific!
Thank you. I think it may be the biggest one we have found yet because Mom couldn’t even really lift me up onto it.
You could hold a party on that chair! Your smile is so endearing; love it! Have a great week!
Thank you. It is one big chair for sure!
I love that smile. I love that chair too. You look so small next to that chair.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
That is a really huge chair. Seeing my size next to it tells how big it really is!
That chair makes a great picture. And your smile on the one with the shelter says it all – you are having a wonderful day out with your Mom!
It is always fun to take a break at a trial and go for a little walk.
Madison, you look so beautiful with that ginormous chair. In fact you are pawstitively pawsome in all your pictures. I really adore you since you are my Suze! XOXO Sparkle
Awww, thank you. Mom says I’m a huge personality in a little body.
we love your smile… that is a nice doggy house.. maybe you can bring it home when you leave?
It didn’t seem very stable and the car was too full of stuff anyway.
I thoroughly enjoyed the stroll and photos. It is getting to be blanket season for sure.
Today was clean linen day I also changed to a thicker blankie

We are at the point of deciding when it will be time to turn on the heat. So far we are not, but it is pretty chilly outside and not very warm inside.
I love the tent. Great picture.
Thank you π
I remember your chair photos! Emma for sure made you notice that chair this time! Great place to take photos!
It is a pretty area there along the river.
What a beautiful walk…Another wonderful place to explore for sure!!!

I have missed your adventures and lovely photos too. Good to be here today. Have a wonderful week.
Thank you for stopping by.
Emma would be so proud of you finding that big chair and you sure look happy in that wooden tent!
We have found so many giant Adirondack chairs over the years, but this one is probably the largest.
Wonderful smile and some fun finds!
Thank you. I love the huge chair.
What a great place to be!
We always enjoy some time there along the river.
Da jumbo chair are so cool!
It is the biggest one we have ever found. Mom couldn’t even lift me up there.
Wow, that’s a chair for a giant ! You look like a mini dog underneath !
I am small, but he chair really shrinks me down.
There is a resort on the Okanagan lake that uses those huge chairs for advertising, so we see them between Here and Vancouver! They are pretty cool! We love that you look for them too! Faribault looks like a great place for you guys to go exploring! Purrs Marv
We have found so many of them all over the place and some are used for advertising, usually for advertising a city.
