Fall air and leaves have brought out the wild hounds in the backyard once again. All the smells in the air, and crunching under our paws makes us a bit crazier than normal and we love it. We are so thankful the heat is gone so we can enjoy the great outdoors.
Our suggestion to anyone with a backyard and dogs is to get a couple of large pine trees. All of us just love going under them to play chase along with hide and seek. Mom says that even Emma got a lot of use out of these two trees.
We enjoy diving under, running in circles and then popping out randomly, surprising our play pal. Even though we are taller, we still manage to fit under the branches and run around and around.
Sometimes we spend our whole playtime going in and out from under the trees. Other times we come back out and race laps around the yard.
All of us enjoy racing around, really getting our speed up.
Playing chase is our very favorite game. We enjoy being chased and being the chaser. It doesn’t really matter because the running is the fun part.
Look out Nelson, I might just nip you in the behind if you don’t speed up!
Nelson is a heavy guy. Mom can barely carry him these days, but for some reason, he can fly like one of the fall leaves in the yard.
He tells me that fangs are in for Halloween, and then he showed me his!
The fall air brings out the wild in us all, but more than anyone, it gives Nelson energy. Look out! Here comes a flying puppy. I better look out or he may flatten me completely. Fall sure is a lot of fun, and we are so glad we have four seasons where we live!
My GBGV Life is joining Brianβs Home Blog in the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Playing hide and seek in and around the trees does look like fun! You guys are sure having the bestest time!
We are totally worn out by the end of the day!
wow that is very artistic… he can become a stage star… what a talent!!!
Not bad for a boy, LOL!
No one captures the pup-action as you do! We feel we’re right there in the yard with them, and how wonderful that feels!
Mom loves action photography, and we do our best to put on a good show.
How fun. You’re all speeding around and having a blast. Mom too some great action shots.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches all around and my best to your mom. β₯
We provide a lot of action for her to capture. It is fun for us all.
Run Nelson run! Run Olivia Run! Happy fall, y’all! XOXO Sparkle
Fall is when the fun begins. Hopefully soon we will be dashing through the snow.
You pups sure know how to play! And look adorable while doing it! We don’t have a low pine tree but we do have a low Powder Puff Bush and bow likes to play under it and he also likes to scratch his back on the low-lying limbs
We don’t slow down enough for any scratching but it sounds good for an itchy back.
What great photos of the youngsters frolikcing in the leaves and trees!
We are always racing around. Bailie and Madison only play wild with Nelson once and a while.
I agree I know I feel friskier in cooler weather…
Love your photo
Hugs Cecilia
We have more room for treats when we run a lot too.
Fall is always a great time for zoomies in the backyard!!
xoxo,
Rosy
Too bad your zoom partner is out of order. We sure hope you two can play again after her current rest period.
Nothing better than having fun with a friend!
I have three sisters to play with, but Olivia is the most fun of all.
That was some serious romp on the wild side with the run n’ fun happening everywhere! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
The two of us get pretty crazy. Sometimes Mom has to bring us in and separate us so we settle down.
What great fun you have!
We have too much fun almost, according to our Mom but it makes her happy.
Wowzers! you guys sure know how to romp and roll! It is always nice to have siblings to play with and we have to agree about the pines!
Nelson keeps all three of us girls on our paws. If one of us is tired, he moves on to the next victim.
You guys look like Olympic athletes! Enjoy the crisp air.
We really exert a lot of energy, but it sure is fun!
Wow, all that exercise makes me tired!
We sleep well at night and go to bed early on our own.
