Today we are giving thanks as it is Thanksgiving. We are all pretty fortunate pups and we have a lot to be thankful for. First and foremost, we are all very thankful to all our friends and family, in person and online. You are all special to us. This year, we thought it would be fun to each do our own photo and post about why we are thankful. Ready?
Being the oldest GBGV at our house, I get to start the thanks rolling. I’m the biggest hunter at our house which is why I chose to hold the turkey in my mouth. My mom knows me really well and thankfully is no longer is making me go in the car very much, and I also am not having to be super competitive in my sports. If we do sports it is for fun. I love to be home, cuddle, and be nice and cozy.
For me I’m thankful that I am a small GBGV. Everyone thinks I am adorable. Mom says I’m like a living stuffed GBGV. She can pick me up and carry me around easily. I’m super happy and my tail wags so much, Mom thinks it may just fall off some day from all the wagging it has to do. All the opportunities I have had in my six years are really something to be thankful for because many dogs never get much in the way of opportunities.
This will be no surprise, but I’m so thankful for Team Orange. Emma sent me to Mom, we all know it. I am just the hound she needs and we are an excellent team. Dog sports is our thing, and I am thankful to help Mom achieve things in nose and scent work she never dreamed possible. We have a great bond and that is something very special to us both.
Since I am still a puppy all this giving thanks stuff is rather new for me. Most of all, I’m thankful I have a mom and sisters who love me, but having lots of good food is a close second. I love to eat, and I do eat a lot because I am a growing boy. Can you believe Mom decided not to adopt me when I was nine weeks old because I am a boy? Yes, it is true. Five weeks later she realized I was always on her mind so she picked me up and gave me a chance. I have now successfully wrapped her around my big boy paws!
Have A Wonderful Thanksgiving!
