I’m always a happy hound when I get to Gramma’s house, especially when I go alone with Mom. It is a lot of fun being an only dog for part of a day! Gramma loves to spoil me and I am super gentle and well behaved with her. She has some really pretty holiday planters on her front step. I got to see them when Mom and I went for a walk.
This time of year, there is a lot of sunshine in her living room. I really enjoy napping in a good sun puddle and it is almost to where I am hanging out.
When Mom and Gramma are in the kitchen, I like to nap right there just in case they have any food for me. Gramma loves to sneak me food and I am not complaining about that at all! The photo makes my nose look huge, but I didn’t want to lose my focus on the food just for a photo.
Now I did save the best for last. This happy hound knows the most important place in the entire house is the pantry. Gramma keeps a box of cookies in there, just for me! I really love these cookies from Trader Joe’s. We did some Christmas decorating too, but we forgot to take photos of that. Maybe next time.

It is great to be the only one and to get spoiled now and then.

They are so very nice. Everyone sees them when they drive it too.
Gramma’s are the bestest peoples … but you know what? Gramma’s think their grand-pups are the bestest, too!
(I speak from personal experience, having 4 amazing grand-pups!)
Gramma isn’t a big dog person, but she loves us all. I am her favorite but I’m not supposed to tell my siblings that. She is afraid of everyone jumping on her or tripping her, but I am slow and gentle.

I am always chilled out at her house. I’m the only dog and I get all the attention and snacks.
