We took a Black Friday walk with our good Shiba Inu friends. It’s fun to get out after a day in the house for the holiday. The weather was warm and sunny too. The snow we had has pretty much melted and it was a bit icy in spots, but everyone managed to stay upright.
Lebanon Hills park is where we decided to meet up with the boys. Yikes, when I say that I realize I was the only girl with three boys. For the most part, they are polite with me, thank dog.
You may remember Crush and Marvel. They came to our house to play a few times in our yard. Now they don’t live as close to us, so we don’t see them much. Mom took me and Nelson because we are the easiest two for walking. Olivia and Nelson is kind of a disaster. The Shibas are not into photos like we are. Finally we found a spot where we could each have our own spot and Mom could get a photo. The silly Shibas refused to sit down!
We don’t have any other photos of us together because there were a lot of people out walking and it was simply too difficult to get our friends to behave for photos. Nelson and I took a few photos along the way as we walked around the lake.
It is embarrassing but the humans wanted to use the restrooms, so Mom left us outside on the bench. Of course, they took turns, so Mom watched the Shibas too. We are not fans of waiting when we want to walk.
The Black Friday walk was fun, we only spent about an hour, but that was a good amount of time. We don’t walk at this part of the park normally, so we learned a new route we can try again next time we go. A good time was had by all. Getting out for walks in different places with friends is always fun.

It was fun to walk with them, but man is it rough with two wild boys out of the three. They are hard to control.
I haven’t had a dog in many years, but I’m sure any day spent outside with friends is a good day.

We dogs usually enjoy anything we get to do with walking and if it is with friends it is even better.
Gail and I love seeing you out on your walks in different places. But we think you need to give those Shiba pals a bit of training when it comes to posing for photos.
Gail tells me that she once thought of acquiring a Shiba Inu but was put off when her vet friend Kirsty told her they are always very aloof. We wonder if this is the case with Crush and Marvel?

That is so funny. They are super independent. Crush, the black one is very aloof, Marvel the red one is just a crazy guy who doesn’t care about anything. We hope Nelson doesn’t learn things from him, LOL! Shibas can be difficult, but having them as friends is fun.

Always fun to walk with friends! My niece’s Shiba Inu doesn’t like to sit either! He does all sorts of tricks, but NOT sit.
They do what the want and only that. It makes us hounds look easy!
