Valentine Love Bites? What are they do you ask? They are super duper yummy Valentines’ treats for your dog. You can make them in a jiffy, they are super simple, and no bake. The recipe will be at the end of this post. All four of us are going nuts to get another one!
The ingredients are simple: oats, dog safe peanut butter, coconut oil, unsweetened coconut flakes, two bananas, ground lamb or beef lung treats, three strips of bacon cooked and diced into small pieces.
First of all, you have to mash up the bananas so there are no chunks left. I use my handy, dandy mashing tool to do this job.
Next add all the ingredients to your mixing bowl. Don’t forget to melt the coconut oil first.
Once everything is in the bowl, mix the ingredients well. It becomes a bit gooey, but it is supposed to be that way. Don’t worry, it will taste a lot better than it looks!
Before putting your Valentine Love Bites batter in the refrigerator, make sure and taste it, but only taste it, don’t eat all the dough.
After the dough is chilled, roll it into small, one inch balls and place the balls back in the refrigerator so they firm up nicely. Before you know it, the cookies are finished!
The best part about making treats is eating them, right? I am not wasting any time getting starting with my tasting work. Baking sure makes for a happy pup in the kitchen, and my siblings are super happy to have some new and tasty snacks!
Why not whip up a batch of Valentine Love Bites for your special pup on Valentines Day? I know they will just love them! You can grab my recipe here.

You are a super cute baker and those special treats sure look good!
The bacon really makes them pop.
YUM YUM YUMMY! Those look so decadent! We have been without internet since 5:33 last night. Got caught in the massive Spectrum outage plus more issues. XOXO, Sparkle
That is not good. Thankfully Mom has her phone hotspot just in case since she needs to be online to work, but when home internet is out, that is no fun.
Mom says she might makes some of those for Cinnamon. Us cats are not into fruit and nuts so we want just the bacon and the lungs…Purrs Marv
