Awww.. you know in my younger days I was known for my hugs! I loved jumping up and putting my paws around my mom and anyone who I loved. It was like my trademark! As I have gotten older, I still want to, but it is hard to get up on my hind legs. But sometimes I surprise mom and yikes! I hop up and give her a hug! She always says “ooohhh what is this? get down! your legs!” And I wag my tail and stay up as long as I can. Just like Winnie the Pooh says — a hug is always the right size!! Great post. We love it!! We all enjoy hugs around here. Bailie has her signature huggles, but they are normally done with Mom getting down on the floor and Bailie hugging her from sitting on her haunches. She is still pretty active but sometimes it is harder for her to stand on her back legs too. I’m glad you still hug your mom now and then. I’m sure it makes her so very happy and your hugs are now more special.
Winnie the Pooh was a genius! We are ALL into hugs! Even me, Marv, who hates being picked up, I hug Mom when she is laying on the sofa trying to read. You guys ROCK! Purrs Marv
