Happy fourth birthday to me today! Three was a really good age to be, four seems so very old but I am sure I will do well as age is only a number, right?
For my birthday photo shoot this year, Mom and I decided to go to a local park we love with lots of nice trails. We go during a weekday to avoid a lot of people. It is my birthday, after all, and I don’t really want other people and dogs in my photos.
I should ask, do you like my hat? My new party hat, I mean? This year I really wanted a polka dot hat with orange, but they are super hard to find. It seems that perhaps party hats are going out of style. Finally we found this little beauty on Etsy and ordered it.
My nose is always working. Mom says I use it when I sleep too. I can smell critters when I air scent. It’s hard to sit still while getting my photo taken with so many smells in the air!
How about a close up of my sniffer? My nose is my most important asset, and I am very talented at using it too! Mom likes to catch lots of different views and angles of us on our birthday photo shoots.
This is my happy fourth birthday, and the first one with snow on the ground. It has been a pawsome winter with all the snow, but now it really is time for it to go until next winter. Doesn’t it seem silly to sit in an Adirondack chair in the snow? My little behind could freeze here!
Since we do have plenty of snow, I decided to have a “snow”ball of a birthday today! I’m super lucky to get to do scent work this weekend with Mom. Madison and Olivia will be sniffing too. There is no better way for me to celebrate my special day than to do some sniffing!
Happy birthday to me! I’m super excited to see what I can do being four. No doubt, it will be a Grand year once again.
