It’s me, Nelson, the crazy guy in our backyard. Spring is here for a few days and I’m letting my furs down. I cruise around looking cute and handsome, waiting for something crazy to do.
Mom says this is my “I’m up to something” look. I take offense, as a nice boy like me would never think of getting into trouble.
Maybe I could try to put Olivia’s entire head into my mouth? She has a big ego, so it may not fit, but I have no problem trying to do it anyway. It kind of looks like I have the eyes of a possessed being…
My ears seem to be tangled up and they can’t decided if they should stand straight and tall, or flop down. Ears are hard to control.
Look everyone, I can fly! I’m airborne! With FastCAT season approaching, I have to be in my best shape and form. There is only one goal for me, and that is to be faster than Olivia.
I guess I am pretty flexible too. Look at how nicely I can curve as I land on my victim.
Ears up! The crazy guy just heard someone yell, “treats!” Time to head into the house. I’ve worked up quite an appetite racing around the yard. This is my first spring in Minnesota. What a change from all the snow. All the new smells in the air are fantastic! I think maybe every season is a lot of fun for this guy.

The smells are amazing and it makes Mom nuts on our walks because our noses are glued to the ground.

Mom says agility isn’t our thing. Bailie, Olivia, and Madison all quit because they didn’t like it. If we aren’t having fun, neither is she.
Oh, Nelson, you are a piece of work! But I say that with affection and admiration. You are a handsome, cute fella! I have a feeling you’re going to get a little crazier every day as the air warms up and the flowers and tree leaves start budding. Enjoy it!
