Today I’m a perfect ten! As we do every year, Mom took me out for a birthday photo shoot. It was really hot and sunny, so we didn’t stay out long, but we still got some good photos of me.
Of course, I have my new birthday hat from The Sand Dollar Dog Company. Finding a good party hat is hard these days. We checked on Etsy, Amazon, and even party stores but could not find the right one. Thanks to our friends Rosy and Sunny, we got the tip to check out Sand Dollar Dog Company. They have tons of great stuff for dogs.
I love the purple color and the fun pom poms that are white and purple. It is more of a dark lavender, but I love it. Purple doesn’t have to be deep and bold. Mom and I took my hat to a local park for my photos.
Minnesota is the land of over ten thousand lakes, so I always seem to have water in my birthday photo shoots.
Thankfully some of the trail is in the woods where it was a bit shady. Still, I seemed to end up in the sun most of the time.
We found some logs to play around on. It is actually for kids, but who says dogs can’t play there too?
Even a girl who is a perfect ten might need to take a rest being out walking in the heat.
At my new age, I’m still a super happy girl. I smile a lot and love to have a fun time! Right now I don’t have any big plans or goals for the coming year, but I’m sure something will pop up. Happy birthday to me! Since my family is not home this weekend, I will celebrate with my pet sitter and the special treat my mom bought for me.
