My pretty in pink party was a success. I am now seven and other than a few of the typical bloopers, my birthday was awesome! Per usual, I did some photos of just me before my guest arrived. Except for Nelson, we all had some kind of pink party hats. Nelson refused to wear pink.
This year I ordered a pink cake for my seventh birthday. It is a basic cake with vanilla frosting and pink coconut around the sides. I’m super happy about how pink it is. The Three Dog Bakery doesn’t use artificial ingredients, making good color difficult to get, but they nailed it on my cake!
Once my siblings found their chairs and donned their party hats, I thanked them for being great sisters and brothers. I also let them know I appreciate them for coming to my pretty in pink party even though it is my color.
Next comes the fancy family photo before we are allowed to cut and eat the cake. “Everybody look at Mom and say squirrel, but don’t take off running, please.”
Finally, we finished the boring photos and it is now time to dig in.
Miss Piggy, I mean Olivia put the entire piece of cake in her mouth at once! Where are her manners?
Nelson and Bailie are reasonable eaters. They at least taste their cake before swallowing it.
Since no one seems to have issues with the taste, I figure I can start to eat my piece of cake. Mom says I do everything slow in life. Maybe she is right.
I think all the tongues tell you a bit about how yummy my cake is. Bailie is even trying to smile.
When everyone else finished their cake, I started to lick and then eat my cake.
My cake is really yummy, and the frosting and coconut is amazing! I love a good pretty in pink party, regardless of my sisters saying it is kind of silly.
Because I’m short eating at the table is not easy. I usually take my dessert and put it on my chair to eat. Afterwards, I clean up the crumbs around my place.
Olivia has become civilized in a few ways, like not getting on the table. Nelson has picked up where she left off. It seems that Bailie finds it amusing.
Mom says Nelson isn’t going to wear the birthday tie anymore because it can’t be seen 99.9% of the time. He needs to get a different tie I guess.
That’s a wrap for my pretty in pink party, and I am one happy pink girl! Seven is going to be a super year, I can feel it!
PS: Did you know Pink was in town for a concert last night, on my birthday, and Mom didn’t get me tickets!
My party was outside, so I’m joining my friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.
How lovely, and you all look so well behaved!
We all started modeling as little pups, so we are used to photos and know how to behave most of the time.
Your cake is beautiful, Madison, and your pawty is perfect in every way! We have a lot in common when it comes to dining, OliviaβΊ Thank you so much for making my mom smile this morningβ₯
Awww, an early morning smile is great! Olivia is not miss manners, that is for sure.
oh your cake!!! the phenny ordered a cake at the mama for his birthday…but we have some doubts that it will lok like yours….
What a lovely birthday pawty you had! And cake is always awesome. This will be a fantastic year for you, Madison.
I hope it will be a good year. The birthday was great at least.
Oh Madison, we are so pleased you had such an awesome birthday party. Those pictures of the family sat around (and on!) the table enjoying the pink cake are just priceless and will have Gail smiling all day!
Toodle-oo!
Nobby.
Awww, thank you. We all love our birthday bashes.
Looks like you all enjoyed your Pretty in Pink party, Madison! Nelson on the table cracks me up! And Miss Manners Olivia is a hoot! The Z Kids have some manners, but with their sensitive tummies I have to be careful what I give them. And especially how much.
Thankfully, we can all eat pretty much anything and we do.
Such good manners. Waiting for all your guests to eat before you started to eat. It looked like a lovely party and I hope you have a very happiest of birthdays.
My birthday was Grand and now I am going to rest up and plan the next 364 days.
What a pawesome pawty!!! That pink cake looks delicious!!
We can’t wait to see what 7 holds for you Madison!
xoxo,
Rosy and Sunny
I’m starting on the new year of seven with some napping. I think it will be a good year.
Aww, how cute is that!
Thank you. We love our family birthday celebrations.
looks like the party was a huge success and the cake looks delicious! Nelson should probably wear a bow tie!
He will be getting a bow tie for parties from now on. Mom thought a necktie would be fun, but it doesn’t really work for him.
Madison, I’m wearing a pink top in honor of your bday.
BOL BOL the family who had deSSert together 4 times a sweet and cute.
Love the photos
Hugs Cecilia
Awww, thank you. We say it is four times the fun with four of us.
What a blast of a pawty! A guy can always use a few more ties in his wardrobe. I’m sure he can find a birthday bowtie. Super Seven! YOU are rocking it already with that absolutely perfect cake! I’m going to be 8 in September, I hope Mom is thinking about that.
Jimmy Parker
She better start planning now so you are ready. Mom will get Nelson a bow tie for birthdays as the necktie just isn’t his thing. It was worth a try, but a fail.
Pretty in pink and handsome too ~ you sure do know how to ‘party’ ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

I’m hoping it will be a really good and fun year for me.
The pictures in this post are some of my favorites – I might think that every post – but I love these – what an awesome pawty Madison! Hope this level up is as fun as last year!!
Thank you. We had a really fun party, but they are over with so fast because my siblings eat like animals, LOL! I like to savor things in life.
