Today is my 7th Gotcha Day! Can you believe it? I feel like I’ve lived here forever, but then again seven years seems like a really long time. I’m holding my puppy collar in my mouth. It’s my first pink thing I owned.
I’m from the Technology Litter. My siblings have names like Chrome, Bing, Java, Cache, etc. Mom wanted to name me Madison, so she had to find something in technology that was named Madison. Her research found this: In 2003 Intel released a new Itanium 2 family member, codenamed Madison, initially with up to 1.5 GHz frequency and 6 MB of L3 cache. The Madison 9M chip released in November 2004 had 9 MB of L3 cache and frequency up to 1.6 GHz, reaching 1.67 GHz in July 2005. This sealed my fancy name to be Ethos Intel Inside and my call name to be Madison.
Mom drove the whole way to Missouri with Bailie to pick me up when I turned nine weeks old. I was a bit hesitant to meet this strange lady. My birth family was fine with me and I was the first puppy who would “leave home” but she seemed nice enough.
Can you believe how tiny I was? This photo is me at eight weeks old.
It was late when I reached my new home, so Mom took photos of me the next day. Emma greeted me and seemed nice, but Bailie was not interested in meeting me at all. I think I was a super cute little pup!
After a couple days, Bailie did warm up to me and we started to have a lot of fun together. This photo was taken when we were kind of bored and didn’t know what to do.
Out in the yard, Bailie gave me her play bow and that got things started. At first I hesitated but then I decided to play.
Mom put up the tunnel in the living room. I think Bailie and I had more fun outside the tunnel than we did running through it. Bailie and I really bonded the first week or two after I got home. She let me do almost anything and we had so much fun together.
She was not even safe when she was trying to take a nap in her very own bed! Since I was such a crazy little one, it is hard to believe I grew up to be Miss Manners, and the fun police!
All the craziness makes a girl tired. Now that I got my sister out of her bed, I can have it all to myself. On my 7th Gotcha Day we sure enjoy looking back through photos of my first days in this family. I’m a very lucky, and happy girl to have such a loving and fun home with so many siblings to hang out with.

Happy Gotcha Day, Madison! I love the picture of you and Bailie sharing her bed♥
Bailie took a few days to accept me and then she really helped me out and put up with a lot of silly stuff from me.
happy gotcha day sweet girl
Thank you.
What fun pictures of you on your Gotcha Day anniversary! You may have been a wild puppy, but you are one sweet girl.
I was a crazy puppy and then all of the sudden I grew up and became Miss Manners.
Aw, Happy Gotcha Madison! Seven years is a long time in a pup’s life, though to us dog parents it goes by way too fast. You were adorable then and you still are now! I love all those photos! Especially of you in Bailie’s bed with her! I love looking at my pix of Callie and Shadow bonding like that; and later of Ducky and Bogie and now of the Z Kids.
Happy Gotcha Day sweet girl!!
Going through old photos is always so much fun and it brings back all the great memories. It is one of the best things about Gotcha Days and Birthdays.
You joined a great pack! So much love in your house
I joined a crazy pack that grew but I love it and wouldn’t change it for anything.
Madison you know I love your ‘call name’! Angel Madi’s full name was Madison D. Cat. What adorable photos with your big sis. Hard to believe how tiny you were. Happy 7th gotcha day. 7 is my lucky number

Mom said it took her a long time to find a way to call me Madison with a technology theme, but she is determined and did it.
AWWWW… Happy Gotcha Day!! You were such a cute pup, and now you are so debonaire. LOVE the photos!!!
Now I’m the lady of the pack and also Miss Manners but I enjoy being who I am.
Happy Happy Gotcha Day Madison!
Thank you.
So maybe some hacker set your little chip in the super-speed, fun-crazy, adorable mode and you just lived up to it
for all those years! Well, whatever … you were one special pup for sure, and still are. Happy Seven, Miss Madison. Now: go, go, go!
I went from a crazy puppy to a Miss Manners, lady, but everyone says I am adorable as I am. Mom says so too.
HAppy Gotcha Day Madison!! Mama says it seems like just yesterday that you were a puppy!

I have heard from a few that they are having WP comment issues but the comments do show up. I’m still having Blogger issues. So frustrating.
Oh sweet Madison…what a cutie patootie you were as a pupster. Now you’re just a good looking and talented gal! Happy Gotcha Day, sweet girl.
Thank you. I’m still cute according to my mom because I’m small and my personality is really fun.
Happy Gotcha Day Madison!!!
Thank you!
