We’re thankful for Christmas decorating as a family each year. Mom always lets us help and we all adore our tree. Hanging our stockings is always a big thing and we love them so much Christmas Claude does such a good job making them. He has all kinds of wonderful ones for dogs and cats. Mom’s stocking is very old. Her Gramma made it for her way back on her first Christmas which was a loooonnnggg time ago!
Nelson started out with the big set of antlers but they didn’t seem to agree with him. They are really old as Mom’s first dog, Trine , wore them at Christmas time back in the mid 1990’s. The guy is a good sport and let Mom take a photo with them anyway.
He is much more comfortable with an elf hat it seems. From the looks of it, he takes this whole Christmas decorating thing very seriously.
Our wild child sister, Olivia stopped by to see what was going on. She isn’t much for helping out around the house. I guess she figures she can be lazy at home since she does so well with her sports.
Then there is me, the one who adores the tree and Christmas. I can’t wait to get the tree decorated! My bow is so fancy and pretty too, I love wearing it each year. Can you see I’m smiling?
This is our box of ornaments. Mom says we only put part of them on the tree and the best ones are on top. The silver can keeps our tree topper safe and sound all year in the other decoration box.
Bailie finds decorating to be a lot of work, but she is into bling. Of course, she shows up to help hang up the blingy ornaments.
Our tree is done and so is our fireplace/mantle area. This year we put up all the Santa photos Mom has. We are thankful to have these as memories. From left to right, we have:
- Katie, Emma, Bert, Sophie 2009
- Trine, Mom’s first dog, 1995
- Katie, Emma 2007
- Bailie, Madison 2018
- Olivia 2019
- Nelson 2022
We think it is nice to remember all of the furs past and present at this special time of year. How about you, is your home decorated yet? I’m thankful we are done and can now enjoy it for a few weeks.

Decorating is always so much fun and you guys are really getting into it! You all look so great in your headWear!
We all love getting all the stuff out that we haven’t seen in almost a year. The house has a different look, and I really love having the tree around.
we love the chimney with your stockings… and we hope satan will fill them with the best things …
We hope there is a magnet in there that attracts lots of treats!
Beautiful!
Thank you.
OH my Dogs…what a festive house Mom is quite talented in decorating.
Nelson…I think the elf hat suits you. We all like a guy in a hat.
Olivia your Tree headband made you get low.
Madison OMDs I might be a tad jealous of your adorable bow
Bailie so very chic in the shades and holding the ornament
Hugs Cecilia
We all have our styles and things we like and don’t like. Olivia likes to put her head down whenever she has to wear something on her head. Mom needs to work with her to keep that head up.
Oh you cute doggies with all the wonderful Xmas decorations ~ great photos and love the memories too ~ Xo
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Thank you. The memories are extra special this time of year.
It’s that time of the year. I must say, Blingy Bailie looks amazing in her get-up gear!
Bailie is always doing her own thing and bling seems to be what she loves.
What precious memories! All of you add your own personal touch to the decorating – and Madison, we LOVE your bow!
Thank you. I have always loved big bows on my head furs 🙂
Love the memories! Madison looks like a REAL little girl! ADORABLE!!! We are in the process of decorating the house. Olive is our interior decorator extraordinaire, quite the busy body in my opinion! we need a new place to hang our stockings.
YOUR friend, Jimmy Parker the GBGV.
Make sure Santa can find your stockings if you find a new place for them.
Y’all look fabulous and so festive too! We’re all decorated here and waiting for Santa. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
I bet you are all pretty excited. Santa is most exciting for the younger family members it seems.
Your place hooks wonderful! We don’t decorate, we enjoy seeing what others do with their homes and dream about someday when I’ll have time.
Decorating is a lot of work. We don’t decorate as much as we used to, but we feel the need to have the living room and front step are festive.
What wonderful Christmas decor..We always love seeing your beautiful stockings.
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
We love them so much and he makes such interesting ones for cats and dogs.
Super pawsome stockings and headwear. You guys look very festive!
Thank you. We do try to look our best.
