Last week at class, people started discussing what we dogs would be like as humans. It is kind of a fun thing to think about since humans often humanize their dogs (but never at our house). Today we will give you a peek into who the four of us would most likely be if we had been humans instead of dogs.
Let’s get started with Bailie. I’m kind of a hidden personality and in human years I’m now around seventy years old, yikes!
Social Life: Friends are my thing, I would have lots of friends, girls and boys at school and in my neighborhood. Being a party girl would also be my thing. Even as a senior, I would hang out with my lady friends a lot.
Education: I’m very smart, but only when I feel like applying myself. My grades vary by my interest in the subject. Most of my grades are “A’s”, but classes I don’t like, maybe “C’s”. It doesn’t bother me because those classes are not worth my effort in my mind. I would go to a local college and graduate with a bachelors degree.
Work: Working from home would be my thing. I would need to have my own business, as I don’t like anyone telling me what to do and when to do it. Working with social media, or websites would be up my alley.
Family Life: I would be married to a guy who would like to spoil me. Kids, no thank you. I have never liked being around puppies, so I don’t think kids would be for me.
Where Would I Live: Since I don’t like to travel, or be in a car much, I would move to northern Minnesota and live up there. Hot weather is terrible in my opinion. Up north would be cooler and the nature would be awesome as I love to hunt.
What would surprise you: Everyone knows me as a good girl, but I have my naughty side. If someone pulled a fire alarm and wasn’t caught, or toilet papered the school, I may or may not have been behind it. Sometimes I enjoy doing naughty things, even as an older lady, like spiking the punch bowl.
I’m next, Madison, being second oldest. Now I would be around fifty years old in human years.
Social Life: I love people and getting a lot of attention. In school I would be on the dance line, a cheerleader, and attend all the school functions with my “group”.
Education: Grades would be important to me and I would have straight A’s. Technology is my love. For college I would head for California to Stanford and go on a scholarship. A masters degree might be a good idea as well.
Work: California is a crazy, place and computer companies abound. I would most likely work in a job working on preventing hackers from accessing computers. Why? Because I am a nosy girl. I love to be in the business of others, sort of like hackers want to be in the computers of others. It suits me well and would pay good money along with being fun.
Family Life: Marriage would be important to me, and I would have a few kids. My husband would also be in the technology industry. The kids would be well behaved and expected to do well in school. Remember, I like to be in control of everyone and I am a rule follower.
Where Would I Live: As mentioned before, in California. The ocean would be fun, and they also have the areas with great winters.
What would surprise you: Despite being small, I am the one in charge with my larger than life personality.
Time for Olivia, who would be about thirty years old in human years.
Social Life: I’m not very social. Friends are not very important to me, one or two is plenty. Parties and social events are not for me either. I prefer more alone and family time.
Education: School comes pretty easy for me and I am a top student. I’m competitive in all aspects of my life. Sports, specifically track and field, is what I love. A girl needs good grades to participate in sports. Going to top local college or university with a great athletic program and courses I need to become a personal trainer would be important.
Work: I would like to be a personal trainer, starting out with a company and moving towards being self employed. Staying fit and eating right is important to me.
Family Life: Being single is fine with me. I’ve never wanted to waste my time on guys and the whole dating thing. Doing what I want when I want is really nice.
Where Would I Live: I will live where I grew up in the Twin Cities, somewhere not too far from my mom. She is my person, the most important being to me and I don’t want to be far from her.
What would surprise you: Would you believe that I am actually very shy? I really am, and I shy away from meeting new people and pups.
Here’s Nelson, who would be about thirteen years old in human years.
Social Life: I’m a real jock in school. Chasing girls and playing sports, especially, football is what I love. Being in my click with all the sports guys is also a lot of fun.
Education: My grades are so, so. Some subjects I do really well and some not so well. I think I have a B average. As long as it is enough to keep playing sports, I’m alright with it.
Work: I’m not old enough for a real job yet. I do mow lawns for some extra spending money in the summer.
Family Life: Since I’m still a teenager, I live at home with my mom. I’m a real mommy’s boy at heart, but don’t tell my friends.
Where Would I Live: Right now I can’t imagine living anywhere but at home. Going away to college in a few years might be fun.
What would surprise you: I love food, so much so, I sometimes suck on my ear if it was in my bowl. If I was a human, I think I would pick up my plate and lick it off!
We think it is fun and makes humans happy to think about how we furry ones would be if we were human. Hope you enjoyed our little human biographies.
