A dusting of snow beats nothing this winter at our house. We are starved for snow! Last year at this time we had some thirty inches and now we are trying to have a blast with an inch or two. Everything looks better with a bit of the white stuff as decoration!
My big girlfriend next door misses snow too. She was not here last winter as she just turned one, but she is a serious winter kind of dog. We still have a lot of fun chasing, but a load of snow would really make her happy. The two of us talk about it all the time.
Bailie likes the fresh layer of snow we received Saturday night. Everything is more fun to sniff when it is cold and snow covered.
Madison enjoys cruising around. She too loves a lot of snow, but being so short, the dusting of snow makes running a lot easier for her.
We wouldn’t be real snow hounds if we didn’t have some snow beards. Olivia is happy to model hers for the camera.
Our photographer has been having trouble taking photos of us this winter because she says everything is so ugly. Just this small amount of snow brightens up everything around us.
I stay busy tracking where the rabbits and squirrels have been. The other morning a rabbit had the nerve to sit in the middle of our yard while I was stuck in the house. I gave out some really big and loud howls about that!
Poor Madison has furs that are serious snow magnets. She only has to look at snow and it attaches to her furs including her beard.
Olivia and I have done some more wrestling since we got the dusting of snow last weekend. Olivia seems to have needed to readjust her long, floppy ears! She doesn’t even notice I’m about to land on her.
Our ears love to fly around when we play. The photographer loves seeing our long ears getting wild.
I guess Olivia and I love to play and wrestle in any weather, but snow makes it more fun. Hopefully we will get a load of it at some point!

A dusting is better than nothing but come on – it’s January for heaven’s sake! The weather peeps are saying that we should get snow this weekend. Here’s hoping.
We might get a fresh inch but that is about it. Everything is missing us and going south this year. It is the worst winter ever, no ice, no snow sports, they even had to cancel the dog sled race up north.
Well at least you got some snow to play in. Happy for you!
Some is better than none, but we sure miss the cold and snow this year.

We have pretty much trampled down our dusting so we have paws crossed for another one this weekend. It is not fun in the winter without cold and snow.
Golly Gee what in the sam hill has happened to snowy Minnesota. Wonder if the storm traveling across the country will leave more than a dusting this weekend

All the storms are just missing up and it has been too warm. It is the warmest winter on record and possibly also the least snow. Real bummer.

We are about to give up on this winter. Maybe we will move to the North Pole or somewhere like that with lots of winter. Glad you enjoyed your snow.

We had the mud for a while but then it finally got below freezing.

We just received a smidge of snow too. Nature is being a bit stingy although January and February are typically are driest months of the year so we’ll take what we can get.
Our weather is a disaster, way too warm and barely any snow. We get one dusting at a time but they are becoming more frequent and the bitter cold is also on the way.
