It’s time to go to the bakery to choose my birthday treat for my party. Should I pick up a cake, cupcakes, or fancy cookies this year? Last year I chose cookies with lime green on them and the number one. Mom loaded me up in the car and we headed out on our mission.
No surprise, we landed at the Three Dog Bakery. It was hard to sit and stay for a photo when I wanted to get inside and start tasting and sniffing around, but I know Mom wants the photos so I put up with it.
The smells in the bakery are overwhelming for a guy’s nose. The chews really drew me in! I was wondering if I could secretly chew on one when Mom wasn’t looking, but she really does have eyes in the back of her head. She sees everything! Now you see where they are located in case you want to buy some for me.
Everything in the bakery smells good except for inedible things like clothes and blankets. Even the clearance rack smells pretty good.
Once I made it to the part of the store by the kitchen, things started looking up. The baker lady liked me and I’m tall enough to look over the counter to see what she is making. She gave me several pieces to taste and they were yummy! I wonder if Bailie could figure out how to make woofie pies for us at home?
As always, I’m keeping my dessert choice a secret from you all and my siblings. I can tell you it is adorable and tasty. Being a rare breed is nice because humans tend to remember you. The owner of the bakery always remembers me and she gave me a few woofie pies to take home for me and my sisters. Everyone sure enjoyed the little surprise. You are going to love what I chose for my party, that much I know!
UPDATE: Madison is still doing amazing! She is a wonderful patient, which is no surprise. Mom has her wearing a shirt so she can’t get to her incision. She’s eating well, drinking, and doing her business. It is a bummer it is subzero since Saturday since her belly is completely shaved but her shirt helps and the trips to the bathroom are quick. Her meds are also slowly disappearing or being taken less often and she is still feeling good. We hope the healing continues to progress nicely.

We all love going to the bakery. She always has good samples for us too.
What a fun shopping trip you had and we know you picked out something very special. We are sure happy to hear that Madison is healing up nicely and feeling better.

PeeEss…That’s great news about Madison…POTP for warmer weather(but not too much warmer 😉 and continued healing!
It is like the worst week of the year to have a shaved belly, but she is handling it well and is quick to do her thing outside. Mom carries her up and down the stairs to go out and she says Madison is shivering but there isn’t anything we can do. Dog coats and sweaters only cover a tiny bit of the “undercarriage”.

Gee, I wonder why those chew treats are right at nose level? I am sure the bestest stuff is out of snatch range, though. You do have the store personnel wrapped around your paw for sending you home with freebees.
Yes, they do like me there, a lot 🙂 Lots of the good stuff is at my level, but I know I can’t steal stuff. It’s a great store!
