Is their another furry photo model in the family? I finished off my fantastic birthday week with three nose work classes and a photo model audition. Let’s say the girls may be better at the modeling than I am, but who knows. Mom and I headed out to the audition with Barbara O’Brien, a well known pet photographer in our area, early Sunday morning. We both thought it would be something fun for me.
You may remember Emma started with a photo audition as well back in 2012 and did a few modeling jobs for Target in her career. She has been the most successful one in the family so far.
In 2017, Madison dipped her paws into modeling with a photo audition. Being directly related to Emma, she had high hopes for success.
Finally in 2018, Bailie and Madison showed up for a photo audition. They both did well and the photos came our nice.
Yesterday was my turn to continue the tradition. We arrived early, which was great because I got to be the first dog in for the day. I only had to wait like ten minutes.
Once I got into the area for the photo taking, I started to get a bit worried. There were a lot of people, and the camera flash made a pop kind of noise that I was uncertain about. I’m not afraid of thunder, but I did get scared at my last nose work trial when the gun fire started. It all made it tough for me to sit still and I kept wanting to go to my mom for safety.
The photographer did get some shots of me, but it was not the kind of photo shoot Mom was expecting me to have. When we were done, I decided to curly up with the photographer to try to gain some brownie points. Most likely I won’t be the next big furry photo model, but who knows, maybe clients will see how adorable I am and want to use me for their advertising. We won’t hold our breath, but you never know. It was a fun experience, and something totally new for me.
