It’s not just humans who are bored and depressed with this lousy weather we are having. Even us dogs don’t want to go outside much, we sleep all the time, and it is generally depressing for everyone. My health issues haven’t helped either. Eight days after surgery, Mom let me out of my kennel and I went bounding into the living room, grabbed a Furballz, and started prancing around. Furballz make everyone happy at our house. Even Mom smiles more because she sees how much we love them and we do such funny things with them.
It is surprising, but we often play with the one that is our color. Bailie loves the purple Furballz best. The problem is, she likes to hang out with it and rip the fur out of it. Mom gets after her to stop, but then she starts up again. We are still saving the new set of Furballz for when these are truly dead, but it won’t be long the way they look. The first Furballz came to live with us on Bailie’s birthday in 2018, the orange one.
I like the multicolored ones the best as they have pink in them. They are the only toy I really look for and run around with. I hop, skip, and jump according to my mom when I have one.
Olivia is the orange girl. She is probably the most bored and depressed of us all. Mom can’t get her to go out side much, and she has taken to hoarding Furballz in her wicker den. At bedtime, she brings one up to bed but Mom won’t allow them since everyone wants one. Still, every night, Olivia carries one up and Mom takes it away.
She also has her morning ritual. While waiting for Mom to get ready for her walk, she grabs a Furballz, any Furballz, and runs this circle nonstop until Mom is ready to go out the door. If she stops to get her harness on, she won’t drop the Furballz. Mom says the continuous circle almost makes her dizzy! The above short video was on our Facebook page a while back.
Nelson, as you should know by now, is a hoarder. He loves getting all the Furballz and hiding them in the big chair. Even he is not very interested in doing much these days with the lousy weather. For some reason, all of us just love these toys as if they are friends and family.
It’s good we have them since we are all a bit bored and depressed, and it helps keep Mom smiling too.

We have 2 Furballz at our house for Mackie, who used to visit us for groomies. Sadly, we don’t see Mackie anymore and mom misses him. I never really got into them – the Furballz were always his. You guys look fun playing with yours!
We all love them so much. They are the only toys we all play with every single day.
great that your friends are there to bring some colors into this gray time…
This is true because it is really gray and ugly outside. We need some sunshine and cold air around here.
Toys, toys, toys … make the world go ’round. (Do they make furbalz for kitties??)
Probably not, they would be really small! Furballz are more like our friends than toys I think.
I just love your dogs. Such great personalities.
Mom always says we are all the same, just very different 😉
Olivia I’m giggling at you…OMDS that must be your morning stretch before heading out with Mom.
I like how you gave the camera a glance too. Your tail is quite happy too.
What a muddy mess you have. Ernie, my blogging friend is a long hair mini dachshund in Pennsylvania. Over the weekend he got his first bath of 2024. They had 4″ of snow on the ground. The next day the temp went up to 40 melted all the snow leaving a muddy mess in his yard. Thankfully he loves his bath ’cause he might be getting another one
Hugs Cecilia
It was frozen this morning which was perfect, but now it is sunny and warm, so mud everywhere. Mom is not a happy camper. It is not possible to stay clean.
Our pups do love their toys and like kids, they do have a favorite. Lucy loves frisbee type toys. I had to take tennis balls away because she would literally skin them. She has a ball that she will find and play with now. She will bring it to us and almost throw it at us when she is ready to play fetch. Gotta love a bossy pup.
We don’t do fetch, but we sure do love our Furballz. All of us love all of them. Thankfully we have four of them.
Looks like the ideal toy for you sweet doggies ~ awesome video and great photos of you all with the Furbaltz ~ maybe Mom should get me one ~ weather here is dreadful ~ over a week without sun but rain/snow and a real mess ~ lol ~ hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

We finally have sunshine today which is awesome, but it got all the mud warmed up too. Dirty mess here.
I’m so glad you have your fuzzy pals to keep you busy and I hope you get some better weather soon sweeties!
We are giving up on winter but still do hope a miracle would happen. For now it is just a mess with lots of mud and a ruined lawn most likely.
It’s good to have toys they love to play with. I loved the video. Made me smile and say Awww.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the pups and my best to mom. ♥
Olivia is the only one that does the circles and she just keeps going and going until Mom says time to get the leash. She is a silly girl.
Olivia would make me dizzy too with all those circles. 🤣
Glad you finally got some sunshine – like us – when our mud puddles dry out, we’re left with a desert. No grass – well not enough to count – just dirt, dust, red clay, and sand. Ugh!!
We are not sure how we will get grass to come back along the fence. Just what we needed, another project!
Those look like fabulous toys to have. It seems like spring is coming early all over this year.
Unfortunately, but it is soooo early for spring, like almost two months early. We really hope for some snowstorms first but our hopes are probably a waste of time.
Excellent toys! I don’t really have toys I carry around so mom is curious if maybe I just don’t have the right toys! She is going to keep an eye out for a furballz… great photos! have a great day your friend Chester
Furballz are like siblings, they are always with us and we all just love them. We have lots of toys, but these ones we play with and carry around every day.
Furballz are the best! Every dog I’ve gotten one for loves it. Lulu also pulls the purple fur out of hers and we don’t know why.
Bailie is the same way. We tell her not to kill them, but she loves ripping the fur out. Furballz are the best toys ever!
Such fun toys. Just wish my current guys played with it. Elsa’s not much of a toy player and Wilson has no clue about what to do with toys beyond sniffing and walking away. Sigh.
We don’t do much with any toys but Furballz are more like family. They are always with us.
