We love Dr Seuss at our house. Even Mom loves his books and quotes. Our original plan was to each write our own short Seussism story but that had to be sidelines with the current event at our house. Instead, we wish him a happy birthday and each of us chose a fitting quote of his to honor him. Thank you to Emma for starting the tradition back in 2012 with your own Go, Dog, Go post.
Bailie always has marched to her own drummer. She does what she wants, when she wants, without regard for what others think. She chooses this quote from Dr. Seuss: “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” Bails loves eggs, so she is dreaming about the book Green Eggs and Ham.
Madison is small but mighty. She can stand on her back paws and even walk a few steps. Her Dr. Seuss quote is: “A person is a person, no matter how small.” Of course, she is not a person, but she says it goes for dogs too.
You know Olivia, her mind is always on sports, especially her sniffing sports! She chose a Dr. Seuss quote that to her is based on nose work: “Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!”
I’m the young fellow in charge of our love Dr. Seuss post today. My head is bigger than any other GBGV’s in this house, which means the hat fits me perfectly! Fun is my life, I’m all about having fun in everything I do. My Dr. Seuss quote is: “If you never did you should. These things are fun and fun is good.”
We all love Dr. Seuss and he makes us happy as well as pretty much anyone that reads his books. Happy Birthday to you, and thank you for all your fun books!
