Welcome to Olivia’s birthday party number five. As we do for every birthday, we had a nice little family party. We all know the drill – pose nice for the photo and then Mom will serve up the birthday treats. All of us are happy to humor Mom for good treats!
This year because of Mom’s injury, we had a helper to get us on our chairs and stuff. Mom has never had anyone help with our parties before, but it worked out well. She even took a photo of Mom taking our photo, LOL!
Birthday Party Number Five
For my party treats this year, I chose these big frosting filled cookie sandwiches. They are peanut butter cookies and the frosting is vanilla/buttermilk. The cookies are also dipped in light orange carob. My cookie has a while dollop on top.
Ready, set, let’s all dig into these delicious cookies. They smell wonderful.
We watch a lot of baking shows with Mom. It seems that deconstructed desserts are really in. As you can see we are taking these cookies and deconstructing them so they are easier for us to eat.
These treats are really big for one sitting. Normally, Mom would be mean and cut them in half. Because of her arm issues she decided to let us pig out completely. Birthday party number five will go down as the jumbo snack party I think! There are no complaints from the guests.
Madison was really into the frosting and licking it all off the cookies. For her, the dessert was almost too big. She is a very polite eater.
There was nothing but silence the entire party because we were all so very busy enjoying our snacks and figuring out the best way to eat them.
Indoor parties make it hard to get us all into the photos, so Mom took a lot of shots of us in smaller groups.
Nelson is a true food hound. He loves his food which is why he took a moment to size up everyone else and their eating progress.
Normally at our parties our treats or cake is all gone within a few minutes. Because these treats were so big and had to be deconstructed, we were eating for over five minutes. Mom was shocked!
A Few Silly Moments Captured By The Camera
And then it happened. Nelson finished his dessert first and decided to attempt to steal Bailie’s top cookie. This is not allowed at all. Mom was on him immediately, and the common thief was stopped in his tracks. Thankfully Bailie was too polite to go after him.
Here are a few silly outtakes from each of us at my birthday party number five. Bailie is always the happiest dog at our parties. Madison is Miss Manners. Nelson can be a goofball, and I tend to immerse myself in the treats and ignore everything else.
We all finished except for Madison. Mom put her cookies on the floor and actually broke them into smaller pieces. The rest of us left and Madison finished her treat in peace. She really loved her treat but she is a slow eater.
Finally, I leave you with one birthday girl blooper from the first photos of us at the table. Of course, the birthday girl is allowed to be silly. My birthday party number five turned out to be a real winner! Everyone loved the treats I chose, and we all had a fun time. Even our human helper was amazed at how nicely we pose and how we eat our own desserts and behave politely for the most part.
My GBGV Life is happy, so weāre joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!

I absolutely love your pawties. What a wonderful selection of treats you picked up for yourself and your brother and sisters, Olivia. Everything looks so yummy and you got to have more than usual and that’s the bestest part!
Those treats were huge but we all managed to eat every last crumb and Mom says it is alright to splurge now and then, especially since none of us have weight issues.
Happy Birthday to you! Iām very impressed how polite you all are. Clover would be walking on the table eating everyoneās treats. Nice that you share so well.
We learn our table manners for parties as puppies. When we are young we try that stuff but realize it doesn’t fly with our mom.
Olivia or anyone…having a birthday. I would love to volunteer as Mom’s helper for your photos. What a fun family affair you had and well done being so manneable for the helper. FYI I love all the cookies and cakes too
Hugs Cecilia
The treats I picked were fantastic! Normally, we don’t need a helper, but since Mom can’t lift us right now, it was necessary.
You always have the best birthday parties. I love how you include all the pups in the celebration. You’re a wonderful Pup Mom.

Thank you. Birthdays are a family affair and they need to be celebrated as a family. We all love our parties.
MY GOODNESS!!! What a party!! Glad Bailie didn’t read Nelson the riot act and mom intervened!! Can’t blame a guy too much for seeing an opportunity and going for it!
He is such a guy, so different from us girls, but we love him. Some testosterone in the house is a good thing.
Wow! What a birthday party with all you sweet doggies and amazing photos of you all ~ such personality plus!
hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Thanks to you guys we all now have super cute, personalized for us party hats š
Another fun party in the books! I’m glad it was a good time all around.
It sure was, but I don’t think there has ever been a bad party.
I always enjoy seeing your birthday party photos and always marvel at how everyone sits so nicely and poses for the camera! These were extra cute and those cookies looked like they were scrumptious!!
We learn early on to pose for the camera and no treats at a party until after a few photos. At our house obedience is not something we do much with, but we do get posing for photos, LOL!
Happy Barkday Olivia !
Thank you.
Happy Birthday sweet Olivia!!! Y’all always have the best parties and you could be party planners easily!
We love a good party and our birthdays are the perfect occasions.
Happy Special Birthday, Olivia!
Thank you.
Happy Birthday, Olivia!
Those are all great photos, especially the one of the photographer taking the photo! Those treats look absolutely drool worthy!
The treats were sooo good, and we really enjoyed them and had fun celebrating me together.
Not a single thing wrong with full sized treats. Happy Barkday, sweet girl. You guys always do such great parties. Your Mom should take a bow, especially with her injury.
At least she got a helper to get us in and out of our chairs. Sometimes Mom is just too tired of figuring out how to do things with one arm and she asks for help.
Happy Birthday, Olivia! It looks like you all had a great time at your party!
We all really enjoyed the party.
Happy Birthday Olivia!!!
Thank you.
