Let the May season of fun begin! I’m super excited because Mom says I’m a very reliable guy. My nose work is good enough that we can travel for the first time for me! We are not going far, and Madison and Olivia will be doing some sports too. It will be good to get back on the road. All of us miss traveling.
Since it’s close to my Gotcha Day, I thought I would share a few fun facts about me and travel. Of course, my first road trip was coming to Minnesota, but that was my old life. Not long after I got to Minnesota, Mom packed up all four of us. We drove to FastCAT just over an hour from our house. It is probably the only time all four of us will ever travel for sports together. It was short lived since Madison got injured right away, but still we have this memory.
My first travel photo stop was on the way home from that weekend. Madison was not along that day because of her being injured. I did pretty well considering I knew nothing about modeling at the time. It is the last covered bridge in Minnesota.
This weekend we are headed to Wisconsin. Wisconsin is the first state I visited after moving to Minnesota. The same three of us went to a Scent Work trial an hour or so from home. The city is known for cheese curds, so we took this photo. This weekend we are going all the way across the state, almost to Illinois. Our season of fun is just beginning and we have some fun things planned.
Now for some nature. On my walk this week, I finally found some blooms. This tree is really pretty. I wonder if things will be more in bloom where we are headed?
The tulips are coming along and getting ready to open up now.
Lastly, I found this interesting fungus. Mom doesn’t like mushrooms but she thinks the way they are growing is interesting. I have to agree.
If you are wondering what we will be up to for our three day weekend, stop by our Facebook Page or come back next week when we post about it. Now we have to get going as it is several hours to our destination! Happy Friday!
We’re joining our friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard for their Nature Friday blog hop.

This is so exciting for you! I love the picture of you all packed up and ready to travel, Nelson. I can see why the girls swoon! Safe travels and win big!
We are hoping to have a lot of fun and some good successes. Our road trips are almost always a good time.
I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time. Make sure there are plenty of photos!
We are having fun, and Mom always takes lots of photos.
We are talking about packing our bags soon too. Not sure of the destination. LOL
But somewhere cooler than Raleigh. It was 92 here yesterday. WAY too hot for May 2nd
Hugs Cecilia
It’s in the 70’s here in Wisconsin.
Oh you are going to have such fun in May, that’s quite clear. nose work in a state known for cheese. What could be better?
Toodle-oo!
Nobby.
We’ll sniff out some cheese maybe.
Wahoo for travel season!! Looks like the weather is perfect for some outdoor sniffing!

Today was absolutely gorgeous, but today was FastCat on the way to Nelson’s trial.
I’m so happy for all of you (that want to go) get to travel and do your sports! It is going to be fun, I just know it.
We do love traveling and seeing new places with different smells. It’s sad Bailie doesn’t like to travel but she never has liked it, so she can stay home and is happy that way.
Such wonderful photos and I’m sure you will have a blast where ever you go!
We had a lot of fun Friday, hopefully Saturday and Sunday will be a blast too.
We can’t wait to hear about your adventures!!! your friend Chester
We are happy to be on the road again!
I wish you would travel and come see me!
We are coming close, but not going into NYC. We’ll be in MA and upstate NY later this month.
Happy travels and sports!
We are enjoying our first road trip of the year, that is for sure!
We are humming that old song “country roads take me home” … as you wander here and there, happy travels to all, and stay safe.
We were on lots of country roads today. It’s fun to see things from the interstate and from the boonies.
ROAD TRIP! ROAD TRIP!! OUR favorite season of the year! Mom loves the four of you packed in photo!! Mom is still on the fence about getting a car. She keeps getting injured or sick and can’t practice her driving skills or work with me as much as she had hoped. But I am a good puppy, and we will work things out. You new friend, Lydia p.s. I get to write this because Jimmy Parker and Olive are hogging the window seat.
As long as you have a good home that is the main thing. If things were meant to be, they will all work out for you all.
Beautiful spring pics. Happy trails!
Thank you. We love our travels!
