Prior to our trip Mom researched the Pittsfield mural walking tour. Since we stayed in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, we thought it would be fun to find some murals. The list they have has twenty five murals. We saw about twelve, but chose to only take photos of the ones we really like. Each of us got to pose with a couple of the murals. I started things off with the Welcome to Pittsfield mural.
Nelson is our guy, our protector, so it is fitting he took his photo with the mural called the protector. It is on a garage door down a driveway from the main road. It fits the location well.
Madison, where are you? This giant mural is part of the “Let it shine” collection. If you can’t see Madison, she is in front of the cuff of the man’s pants. This is one big mural and one small GBGV!
I also got to pose by the Thrive diner. Mom likes this one as it is all about food and it reminds her about her super healthy eating plan she started about two years ago. We also have a pretty healthy diet with raw food, and single ingredient treats and chews.
Can you see Nelson in this Shine mural? He blends right in. It is a super busy mural, but one we really like. It is a 3D painting that works.
The name Madison is seen all over the place, on street signs, city names, and more. Madison had to pose with this namesake mural which is called, “Flag Mural”.
Making wishes is a fun mural Nelson chose to pose with. It is all about farm animals.
Our favorite message is this one called “love”. The world could use some more love these days!
The mural walking tour is a lot of fun. It is a great way to get outside and walk around, plus see some wonderful art. To see the entire mural tour is only a couple miles of walking all in the city. We did it in pieces when we had some free time early morning or in the evening. If you get to Pittsfield, Massachusetts, you should check them out!

So many beautiful murals! No way we can choose a favorite!
There is a mural on almost every corner it seems. Some are up high, so we left those and some we didn’t like that much. We picked a few we liked a lot.
It’s wonderful (we just got ’round to yesterdays tour …). Love any cities that does “outdoor art”, encourages beautiful murals on buildings … these are great.
Pittsfield is very artsy and cultural. The only bummer was all the people sleeping on the streets.
I really could not find Madison in that picture. I think you were fooling me.

They are all over the place, so we had to seek out the ones we really wanted to see.
That looks like a really fun place to visit and check out. Maybe more towns/cities should be creative like Pittsfield
It was very fun to walk around and see all the creativity, and they have good restaurants too.
