It’s my birthday month and that time of year for me to shop for the perfect, tasty, birthday treats for my upcoming party. We decided to go to the Three Dog Bakery again as they have the best selection and they can customize my treats. I turn eleven on Monday, so I need to get my treats selected.
You know how we girls are, we love to shop! The bakery has so many things in their store besides just bakery stuff. I was checking out some of the collars. They only have fabric ones and they wear out really fast, so Mom won’t buy me one.
All of us love the section with the bones and chews the best. They all smell so good, how could a girl choose just one? I couldn’t bring one home anyway as my siblings and I would argue over it.
They also have packaged treats. Mom did end up buying us a bag of quiche treats. We used to love them, but now that we eat our raw food and pretty much only single ingredient treats, we are not as wild about these quiche things. They are good, though.
The bins of dog treats are really tempting. Shoplifting is not allowed, so I only had a few sniffs and then I got all four back on the floor. Mom knows I won’t steal but they are some tasty treats to have out in the open.
After thoroughly sniffing up the store, it is time to get down to business. What would I like to have for tasty treats at my party? There are so many options it is really hard to choose. Mom said cake, cupcakes, or cookies. That does rule out some of the items. I also would like purple to be in my treats.
I thought it over, checked out all my options, and, of course, did some sampling. My decision has been made and the bakery lady is going to customize my choice for me. I told her exactly what I would like and I am keeping an eye on her while she does her magic. Everyone will love my choice and you all can see it at my party. Last year I had a blueberry cake and my party was early because everyone was gone out east. This year, we can celebrate together. I can’t wait!

Mom always gets hungry looking at the display cases, but she knows she wouldn’t really like them even though they are human grade.
