Happy Birthday America! Today America turns 248 years old and we celebrate with our 4th of July celebrations. Hopefully they won’t be too loud and scary. Actually, we have our paws crossed for rain storms so we can get some rest after celebrating all day.
We all love any occasion to dress up around out house, and the 4th of July is no exception. Mom says this is one of our best group photos yet! We all wore ties or bandanas, head pieces, and sunglasses. Everyone even is looking at the photographer, and the two in the center have tongues out, the two on the outside do not. Crazy amazing how miracles happen! Today we are thankful that we have a free country to live in, not everyone or every dog does. Happy 4th of July to everyone!

Mom used to celebrate the 4th of July in Germany, and she celebrated Tag der Deutschen Einheit an October 3rd. She likes to celebrate everything she can find, LOL!

With the current state of the country and all the terrible fireworks, it is hard to celebrate this day, but we will because we are all born in America and we do have a very good life with opportunities others don’t get. Mom has traveled the world, seen how others live and we have it good here compared to most places.

Thank you. Hope you kitties are not to scared with all the noise on this holiday. We had two hours of booms last night and expect more every night through Sunday, plus we have thunderstorms. It is going to be a tough weekend.
