Road trip! This is on my bucket list. Hope you had fun in Miam-a, Oklahoma! Alana ramblinwitham
My GBGV Lifesays
Miami, OK is definitely worth a stop, but for an hour or two as there are murals and cute shops all along the main street. We didn’t have extra time for it this trip, though.
Did you get to visit Route 66 State Park in the former Times Beach, Missouri? It’s worth a detour, or was back in 2013 when I visited it. Alana ramblinwitham

No, we were on a part of Route 66 somewhere in MO last year. We will slowly find more and more pieces of this famous road.
We had a lot of fun, but also a lot of rain, storms and tornadoes! Still it was a good trip.

What a fun day/trip! love the photo with the chicken!

KU KU is what it is called. Everyone who knows Route 66 knows about it we heard, so we had to make a stop.

Very cool!! But now mom is singing that song!!!! your friend Chester
My GBGV Lifesays
Our mom has that same problem but she was singing, “Oklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plain.” And, we had more than enough wind in that state, including the tornadoes. So much action and we were only there for about 21 hours because of the storms.
It seems like more and more little towns on Route 66 have been getting more popular! Thanks so much for sharing. We need to head northeast and visit the Oklahoma side of Route 66! xoxo, Rosy & Sunny

Our only advice is to do that when it is not tornado season! Otherwise it is a great place.
It sure looks like a fun place to be!
We had no idea the whole town would be full of Route 66 but it was a good find to stumble upon.
Kicks don’t get better than that!
It is a very cute little old town.

oooh you were really there… with your own paws on the famous paw-ement
Oh yes, we love to get our paws on things!
Maybe one day you will travel to the other end of Route 66? Those are really cute pictures.
We would like to. Some day if we go to a trial in AZ we will get to do more we think.
So much fun to look back
It is a fun old town.
Really great photos and looks like a fun trip!

It is a super fun little old town.
Hubby and I have traveled on Route 66. Fun and you two are most adorable.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups and a hug to mom. ♥
We want to travel on more of it, and maybe one day we will when we find some trials in the southwest.

Thank you. We wanted some chicken for our efforts but Mom refused to buy us anything to eat at the KuKu.
Looks like a fun place to visit.

It is a super cute old town, but we didn’t have a lot of time to spend there.
I love little towns. Route 66 has been on my bucket list for quite awhile. You do such fun things.
We would like to do a bigger Route 66 trip one day but for now the fun snippets are good.
I love it! I want to visit Route 66 someday.
We would love to drive the whole thing, but that probably won’t happen. Just visiting parts of it will have to do.
You guys made the iconic roadway that much cooler.
We are trying to be the official Route 66 hounds.
