Black Friday we are busy spiffing up our home for the howlidays. We always wait to decorate until after Thanksgiving. Mom did get the planters for the front porch together in the garage earlier in the week but they didn’t come out until Friday. It’s been cold, like single digits and teens with nasty windchills which make it feel a bit like Christmas. Now we need some snow.
Nelson got busy with the ornament box to decorate the tree. Mom really didn’t want to do anything for Christmas this year because she is still so sad about Madison. Madison loved Christmas and so enjoyed napping under the tree. Thankfully we three are still here and she decided to do Christmas for us.
Olivia is tall, which is why she is in charge of hanging up our stockings and decorating the fireplace area. She decided to put photos from all of Mom’s dogs with Santa on the mantle. It is a nice idea to remember all those before us.
My favorite Christmas prop is my reindeer glasses which I dug out of our Christmas box. I think this beautiful red ornament compliments my look pretty well.
Everyone knows, Olivia is mom’s spoiled girl, her dream dog because of her sports talents. Well, she can be a bit of a naughty hound and she gets away with it. We are sure Santa will have her in the nice list but this sign is perfect as it is how she thinks. Now that we are done spiffing up our house for the howlidays, bring on the festivities!

Decorating is coming along beautifully. Love your reindeer glasses, Bailie!
Thank you. They bring me back to my crazy young hound days.
we love the entrance and we love your fabulous socks…we will get coal this year, but you will not believe how precious coal is in europe… we will get stinking rich yeeeeah!!!
LOL! I think we all have been pretty good and Santa will have mercy because we are all still devastated by the loss of Madison. Christmas isn’t the same.
You three are doing a wonderful job of helping your Mom through these holidays.
Thank you. She says without us, nothing would be happening in her life right now.
I think pictures that came before us is a perfect touch to a holiday.
Thank you. We try to do it a bit different each year.

I may be the oldest and not into much mischief anymore, but I still know how to look the part of being cool 😉
The dogs are such good sports about dressing up for photos. I’m sure they are all on the nice list.
We have all been doing it most of our lives, so it is normal for us.

They are my favorite holiday accessory.
Your decor is delightful, I’m glad you all worked together on it.
We always do it together because we are a family and alone would be sad.
Everything sure is looking nice and you look most spiffy too!
Awww, thank you. We are ready now.
Absolutely love those reindeer glasses! Too adorably cute. Your home looks super festive and quite ready for Santa Paws. Here’s hoping you get some snow to add to the season.
We got about an inch yesterday which is better than nothing. It makes us all happy.
