We stayed at the dog friendly Hampton Inn & Suites in the Detroit area on our trip over the weekend. The lobby was all decked out for Christmas with some beautiful decorations. This wreath is super cute but also scares us quite a bit. We need to be on the lookout for elves, just in case!
In the breakfast area they have a beautiful tree with gifts under it. We checked but they didn’t have any tags for us, unfortunately. I guess we have to earn our own Christmas gifts at our nose work trials over the weekend is what we decided.
Once we got to our room we found this cute door hanger for our door. It has nothing to do with Christmas, but we think it is cute and thoughtful for us “furry friends”.
If we travel during the Advent time of the year, Mom always brings our Advent Calendars with us. Each of our three nights at the hotel we got to open another door and have one of the tasty treats inside.
I saved our favorite photo for last. The dog friendly Hampton Inn & Suites really decorated up the fireplace nicely. It was cold out over the weekend making the fireplace a focal point and we think we look pretty nice there too!
Lately, we have been staying more and more at Hampton Inns. They have a good pet policy, and the hotels are clean, friendly, and conveniently located in most places.

How thoughtful of your mom to bring your Advent calendars along and your last picture in front of the fireplace is wonderful!
Thank you. We have traveled with our Advent Calendars almost every year. It makes our trips even better!
oh you have such a super fabulous mom… our mama would forget our calendar… sure and she feels not even shame… we have to change something here… from tomorrow a cold wind blows though her working contract…
Our mom didn’t want to forget those calendars. She is good about making lists so we don’t forget anything.
Well look at you all having a great time at the hotel! Great to know about it. We love all the photos and isn’t that hang tag adorable!!! your friend Chester
Mom kept that door hanger and it is hanging on our bedroom door now. She loves it too.
How thoughtful for the door tag! What lovely decorations! I hope Bailie has her own box of Advent treats at home.
We always have our own calendars and Mom tells the sitter to give Bailie her Advent treat every afternoon.
It’s nice know that Hampton Inn is pet friendly. When we travel Lucy stays with our daughter or another friend. Even the best of kennels are stressful on house pets. Love the door sign. Have a blessed week.
Mom would not take us to a boarding facility. We love to travel and we are the reason we travel, so we always go. Bailie is happy to be home with the sitter.
What a lovely hotel and so very welcoming to all who need a place at the Inn
And Mom remembered you Advent treat calendar too
I hope all the elves you saw were friendly
Hugs Cecilia
We have to watch it with elves around this time of year. Best behavior is a must!
Awww ~ awesome holiday photos of you sweet doggies ~ What a lovely place to stay and so pet friendly ~ enjoy your advent treats too ~ hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

It was a very nice Hampton, kind of like the one in Wichita we stayed in last month.
I love your tree and fireplace. Well done. You have such a beautiful home.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to the pups and a big hug to mom. ♥
Well, it was a home away from home in our hotel over the weekend.
That door tag is awesome!!!!
Isn’t it great! We love it too.
Such a nice place for a Mom and Pup stay and their decorations really are very nice. I like that door hanger too!
It’s a good hotel and we even got eggs from the buffet every morning because Mom brought them up to our room.
We LOVE the door tag! Too Cool! and We gotta say, you have the bestest pet Mom ever! She brought your Advent Calendars! Alas, because of Mom’s broken leg, we did NOT get them this year. She says we are getting extra regular treats, but we are not amused. Keep being awesome! Your #1 Fan Boy, Marvelous Marv, Kozmo, Jo Jo, and Nutcase, er Nutmeg (and Mom Barb)
Awww, you guys have a great mom too. A broken leg is a terrible thing. We dealt with the broken collarbone/surgery last spring and that was rough too. Take good care of your mom!
What a festive place to stay. We will keep Hampton Inns in mind when traveling!!

(who are going to demand our own Advent Calendars next year!)
We always have our own because Mom likes it that way. Hamptons are quite nice but you guys have your RV, so you probably don’t need hotels.
Very nice decorations! Very festive!
It was a cozy feel in that hotel.
It is pretty, and it’s nice to know about their pet friendly attitudes.
It’s not easy to find a nice pet friendly hotel. Sometimes they even allow three dogs which was important until recently.
What a fur-bulous place to stay during the howlidays! Glad you Mom brought the Advent calendar. Smart thinking on her part.
We seem to travel every year in December and she always brings them along. The fun is opening the doors every day, so if we miss four or five days, that kind of defeats the purpose.
so pretty!!!
It was really nicely decorated.
