Today we have a frozen Friday photo dump for you. It was below zero all week, either the actual temperature or the windchill. The weather wasn’t conducive to many fun activities inside or anywhere really. We did enjoy our walks twice a day but in shorter form and we played in the yard during the day but not for long periods of time. It is not a complaint as we don’t mind, it simply makes for not much news.
Bailie is showing off her shoes/boots. Three mornings it was more than ten below actual temperature which means paw freeze. On the road we are fun but we always go off road into the snow and that causes the paw freeze, thus paws covered.
Nelson was happy to hang out on the grooming table for some extra grooming this week. He is totally into his appearance and being groomed.
I enjoy lying in the warm sunshine after spending some time in the great outdoors. It sure feels good when you are partially frozen.
For some reason, Bailie’s furs get full of static cling when it is super cold out. The dry air outside and in the house seem to do it. It is normal for her head furs and the furs on her back to stand up.
Nelson likes to feel bigger than he really is. Before deciding what to do when he goes outside, he likes to stand and the top of the stairs, air scent, and look for any possible critters. Dusk and dawn are prime times for critters.
Bailie went to the sports store with Mom one day and met this black bear. The light coming in from above really made for a bad photo, but she is posting it anyway. No one else in the family has a photo with a huge bear.
The fireplace is where Bailie has been hanging out every evening. It is cozy warm and she likes that. Nelson and I are not into it for some reason.
We will end our Friday photo dump with our homemade trundle beds. Mom put the huge cushion beds by our window bench to pad our jumping down a bit. Nelson actually enjoys napping on them! The heat is on the way and in the next few days it will be too warm and all our snow will melt making a big mess outside. Hope you enjoyed our little photo dump. Have a fun weekend!
We are joining our friends at Living Laughing and Barking in Our Backyard is for their Nature Friday blog hop.

Bummer that your snow will melt as we know how much you love it. We are looking forward to our ice melting with the warmer temps! My furs do the static thing too, Bailie.
Bailie’s furs really stand up all over and it is pretty funny but looks good on her.
wow we thought you will get some spring too… we love your hairstyle, you look like the leader of the little rascals…
LOL! My furs stand up all over me, but it only happens to me. Now we are going to get warm weather which is messy but whatever. Winter is not like it used to be around here.
Nice pictures; that bear looks a bit scary. Happy Friday!
Mom wanted me to stand behind him between his legs but I said no thank you.
I have a feeling you are going to get one more big snowstorm
It would be nice but we are not holding our breath. Winter is changing and it is really kind of sad. We miss the mounds of snow and normal cold. We’ll see what March brings but we are also traveling a lot in March so who knows what will all happen.
I’m all pumped up with your frozen Friday photo Dump. Great idea especially with the subzero temps.
Each photo was fun. Nelson you are a ladies man for sure
Hugs Cecilia
I sure am and I love it. The more girls the better I feel.
I’m with Bailie by the fire ~ feels great to go outside and walk our walk but feels even better to get back inside ~ love the snow boots ~ Always great photos of you sweet doggies ~ hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Everyone used to lay by the fire with me but Nelson and Olivia are not interested so I have it all to myself.
Goodness! love Bailie’s boots. when I first saw the bear, I thought it was in your back yard!!! THAT would definitely cause ME to freeze!
We found the bear when we were out shopping.
What a beautiful collection of Winter photos..We hope it warms up for you soon(just a few teenie tiny, “we can stay out longer”, degrees)!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
Unfortunately, it will be too warm and everything will melt and make a mess. Oh well, winter isn’t what it used to be I guess. We are considering a move to Antarctica but it would be too far to travel for our sports!
Those were all fun photos and that big bear sure is something!
I was a bit afraid of it but it never moved.
I enjoyed seeing a bit of your life through the week.
Kind of a slow week with the extreme cold, but we still manage to have fun.
Stay safe and warm. The Ranch has been a total infirmary as I’ve been sick for days. Hopefully Elsa and I will recover soon. We’re both sick and tired of being sick & tired.
That is a bummer. Being sick is not fun at all. Hope everyone is healthy again soon. Elsa has been ill for a long time now 🙁
