I am now taking a modeling class! Some friends were talking about a modeling class and then Mom decided it might be a fun idea for the two of us to try. Yes, I have been modeling my whole life but there are always new things to learn. My class is in the middle of the night on Wednesdays. Actually, not really, but it is a bit late for us. Since it isn’t forever we will survive.
Our first class was fun and let me tell you, Mom and I were exhausted after an hour. The focus of the first class was to focus. Actually, we call it “look”. Mom needs to show me with her hand where to look and I need to look that way and hold while she snaps photos of me, then I get snacks.
We practiced looking left, looking right, looking straight, all in sit and in down.
Doing this seems so easy and we have done this a bit at home but we are now trying to turn it into a solid behavior.
The big change is to get me to sit or lay down, mom to go behind me and have me look over my shoulder. We thought it would work to show off my collar, but my long ears are in the way. This over the shoulder thing is hard but I am getting better as we practice. It will be fun to see what all we learn at modeling class in the coming weeks!
PS: Photo quality is irrelevant, only the “look” is what counts. Mom snaps photos like crazy so I learn to hold the position for photos.
My GBGV Life is happy, so we’re joining Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday!

we love that klook over zthe shoulder you are a natural talent…
I’m getting pretty good at the over the shoulder. It was hard to not turn all the way around at first.
Nelson, you are a natural.
I enjoy modeling, so why not work on my skills a bit.
You would make a perfect model
Thank you.
Nelson I bet you are hearing the jingle a ling of the phone Dog Fancy calling to get your to pose for their cover.
What wonderful ‘look’ pictures!!
Hugs Cecilia
I went to a photo shoot once a year ago but the noise of the flash scared me and I couldn’t do what I was supposed to do. I have to get over that part and then maybe I could think about a job.
You are a natural at modeling, Nelson !
I love having my photo taken.
Wow! Think you have the ‘look’ down pat ~ Nelson ~ you are so handsome and so photogenic too ~ great photos ~ hugs,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

The look isn’t to hard since I have been doing it for a long time but not with the formal command. Now I am mastering waving with my front paw.
Nelson! What fun! Yes, modeling behavior is VERY useful, and it is WORK!!! YOU are doing great!
Thank you. It is something besides my sports for me to work on.
You are most handsome and an excellent model. You’re doing it right. How fun for your mom and for us too.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to the pups and a big hug to mom. ♥
We will see what else I am going to learn in the coming weeks.
Fun! Wish our training facility would offer this!
It is the first time we have seen a modeling class. There are so many different dog schools around here, we are lucky. The instructors for this class are good and I think we will learn things.
Such a handsome guy you are Nelson…and a great model! Mama has the worst time getting us to look over our shoulders too, looks like you are getting pretty good at it!

The first problem was keeping my stay with Mom behind me giving the look command but now I am catching on. I’m learning to wave with my front paw and that is going well too. Holding an object is not going well but we will not give up.
How about that, a super model in the making. And we knew you before you were famous!
LOL, we are doing it mainly for fun but who knows, maybe one day I will be in Target or something like Emma was.
What a great skill to add to your many talents.
It is something else fun to do and Mom can teach Olivia some of the things at home too.
You’re a total natural, Nelson. You must be at the top of the class showing everybody how to do it! How much fun is that?
I am always a hard worker for whatever Mom has me doing.
