What’s a guy to do when his sister won’t play with him? Mom let us out in the yard since it was not so muddy and she was working on the mud project. I wanted to get some wild pants going which I whispered into Olivia’s ear. At least she does listen to me, but listen is about all she does sometimes.
I tried to get her moving by hugging and pushing her but she didn’t budge a bit. It’s not as fun playing on grass as it is in the snow, but we don’t have snow anymore.
Are you going to play with me or not? We can still have fun racing around on the grass for a bit. Won’t you be nice and humor me by playing? Sometimes Olivia can be so mean to me.
Okay, fine, I will just attack you and see if that gets you motivated to chase and wrestle me down. Why are you being so difficult? You know we always have fun playing chase and wrestle?
It appears I will give up since my sister won’t play with me. Maybe tomorrow she will feel more like playing. Girls can really be difficult and I honestly don’t understand them very well either.

I think she wants to be in charge of me so she sometimes refuses to play. I keep trying because I know she loves to race around.

It seems she just didn’t feel like playing that day, and who knows why? Maybe even she doesn’t know. It happens. I do hope she played with you the next day, though.
We do play most of the time but sometimes I think she is teaching me some kind of lesson by not doing what I want her to do.
